Let's start with the bad... wait, I gave them 5 stars, is there something bad!? Well I did say ""perfect all around tire."" This is my 5th set of these tires on multiple vehicles and my only complaint is that I may have gotten a max of 40-50k miles out of any of the sets that I had. False advertising you may say! Well, maybe but, I lean more towards my mountain driving being the culprit which eats them down a little faster. With that said the price and quality keep me coming back. Having tried some of the most expensive tires in this category, I have found only one tire that has this quality and a slightly better tread life but it costs twice as much. The RT43 has served well in mountain snow, slush, rain and dry driving. It is quiet and decently smooth. I worked many years in a tire shop and highly respect General, this tire continues to promote General's name.

Had never purchased or wanted to even consider purchasing a General Tire...think again. Sure the othe top brands sound sexy but to me it's about price and features. We drive a Nissan Altima...do We really need all the bells and whistles at ridiculous prices? Not! These have worked out really well. They corner well, are quiet and are wearing well. For the price vs the other guys: no contest

I've had these tires for a few months and love them.  The ride is very smooth and quiet and the grip is great!  They were the highest rated tire when I bought them and I completely understand why and totally agree.  Pricing was better than expected so the value is excellent.

This tire is one of the best kept secret! Rivals with couple of much more expensive brands I had. Unfortunately, as the reviews are getting more 5 stars, the price is going up. I put 10,000 K on them and they are sooo quiet, traction in rain is excellent, in snow is normal. They lean a little bit more in corners, noticeable only in sharp 90 degrees curves over 40 mph. Highly recommended.

I have worked in the car business for over 35 years, but never had a set of General tires.  I bought them because of the traction rating and the write up more than anything. The tires cut the road noise in half! very smooth.  I already am trying to get a co-worker and a customer to get them after just one day.

It has been many years since I purchased General tires. These had good reviews and the price was right. At first, they felt a little ""squirrely"" but have settled in after about 3K miles and now run smooth. Moderately noisy, but our Prius is a light car with lots of road noise, so maybe your experience will be better. Braking is good, as is wet pavement adhesion. I don't push the car hard, but handling is adequate. Overall, a good choice for those on a medium budget. Got a visa card with 50 for buying 4 at once.

Bought these tires for my Honda Odyssey. I had heard good things about these tires but I was worried about the ride and noise because the looked more aggressive than the Michelin's I was replacing. I was pleasantly surprised! Very smooth and very quiet! Good in light snow too. When the snow gets a little heavy though there is no substitute for a good snow tire. Overall I am very happy!

I have 3 sets of these tire on a CRV, Outback, and Element. They are great tires. I like the fact that they are quiet tires that don't generate a lot of road noise. The vehicles are all AWD, and I live in North East,  Ohio which gets a lot of snow. They work well in snow and on wet roads, they get good traction, and stop straight. I haven't been in a warranty situation but I expect them to have a long life. The tires were competitively priced and I try to rotate them regularly. I recommend these tires to my friends.

So compared to the last 2 sets I have purchased. Top of the line Michelins LTX M/S and Yokohama. These tires are much better in ride comfort and noise. The traction  is about equal though. But these tires are most cost effective compared to the higher priced tires. I would definitely recommend these as a great overall tire.   (Toyota RAV4)

Great traction in rain, snow for a all season tire. Very impressed. Have driven only about 7500 miles on them, but so far have been outstanding. Tired seems to be holding up very well. Will buy these same tires for our other car when the original tires wear out.
