Got everything in a timely manner. I only had 3# 10 cans damaged. Called Augason Farms, and everything was taken care of. Have not tried anything yet, waiting for when I really need the food.

Kit has a good selection of the food groups. I question if the 1100 calorie/day is realistic and if this would last 1 person 1 year, but never the less would recommend this to anyone desiring a basic food stash. Good insurance at a reasonable price.

First off it shipped really fast and got here about a week ahead of schedule. I didn't find any cans that were dented too badly. Everything seems to be top notch. It's well worth the peace of mind that this gives you. Plus it was about $500 cheaper than other places for nearly identical items. Plan to get at least 1 more.

Products arrived ahead of schedule, packages all in good shape, nothing substituted, and not a single can dented. Without having sampled anything since they will be stored for future use, I cannot actually rate quality of the food itself, so gave it 4 stars instead of 5. However, the mix of items is extremely well thought out, and purchase of a little extra rice, beans & fruit will easily stretch the kit for one to provide a year of food for two. I plan to purchase some long term storage kits as Christmas gifts for family this year.

If you were to buy this kit directly from the manufacturer, it would cost you nearly double. This kit is a great way to get started on food storage and the hand grain mill which is included is a priceless addition (and much needed as this kit includes 9 cans of hard white wheat). You can't go wrong with this kit and SAMs has the best price around!

I rated this 5 stars but do not know the ease of use or the taste of the product. My 5 star quality speaks to the packing and shipping which was excellent. I thouroughly checked other products and manufactuers and found this to be the best buy on a calorie per day count. The mix of meal options was a sure buy for myself. I hope I never have to use it but I believe the day is comming soon, and has nothing to do with the current predictions of doom.

The products arrived undamaged and when promised. We got what we asked and paid for. This will be our first line of long term food storage itmes we will buy for emergencies. Looks to be good product, but we did not open and try the taste or quality of any food stuffs. Overall good product for a good price.

Apparently the best buy around. The 15 cases arrived in about 7 days from order. I might buy some more.

I haven't had a chance to sample the products but they arived in great condition and are already on the shelving I also ordered from Sam's Club.

1000 calories per day is barely enough to keep you from starving to death in a year. It's a 6 month supply for 1 person.
