The treadmill seems great so far, but we still don't know what's up with the hanging wires. My husband and I attempted to assemble the treadmill, got to the point of attaching the computer to the frame (why isn't this done at the factory?) and found the wires that connect the computer hanging out. Mind you the computer is linked to the frame by these fragile wires, and they are hanging outside of the computer. I emailed Paradigm Customer service concerning the problem five days ago and still have not received an answer. I would love to use the treadmill, but don't know what to do about the wires. Also, I was not impressed with FedEx delivery (?) The driver did not even put it on the porch. We didn't even know it had arrived until I checked the Wal-Mart website then found the box leaning up against our carport.

Seems like a solid unit so far. I have used it for 10-12 hours and haven't had any significant issues. The speed has dropped a little once or twice but again nothing significant. I am quite satisfied with the unit especially at the price. I would guess that people that have had major issues failed to grasp the unit is for walking on, not running, as stated in the description.

Didn't take long at all to put together, im 18 and could do it mostly by myself with just a little help from my mom...but if you were stronger i think you could do it on your own. Nothing was missing or broken, and luckily it started up without any problems!!

I'm a little of the older generation's age group & told I need to WALK more... I invested in this machine & it is absolutely perfect for my needs....Haven't had it that long to comment on it holds up, however, can say it's built sturdy whereas you feel safe, just the right size for my apartment, quiet & once again, perfect for my needs....

This is a walking machine for light users, perfect for me. With the expected limitations, due to the price. The horrible part is the Fedex delivery service, they just abandoned the huge package far from the house, in the driveway, almost in the street, and the package cardboard all damaged. Terrible service Fedex!!

The good: Very solid with more metal and less plastic than most inexpensive brands. Not quite as simple to assemble as advertised but still easy. Quiet and smooth. The packaging is excellent. It's obvious that the manufacturer has listened to customers and tweaked the protection. The price is reasonable. The bad: The wiring for the computer is more difficult to tuck in and assemble then it should be. The written instructions are misleading and missing, especially since there isn't that much to do. Given this, you would think they would at least correct the online instructions, but they're just as bad. Conclusion: My biggest fear when ordering something like this is damage in shipment. It arrived in perfect shape. The poor instructions are not a huge deal because this is a simple machine that you can figure out. Overall I am pleased with the treadmill and would purchase this brand again.

I made this purchase based on other reviews and I'm glad I did. I chose this treadmill because I was looking for a simple walking treadmill that would accommodate a heavier person and that wouldn't take up a huge space in my house. I love this treadmill. It is perfect! I love how easy it is to control either from the panel or the buttons on the handles. The extra long handles are perfect and the overall size is really a plus. It is not too big, but also not too small. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with this product and would highly recommend it for a walking treadmill. If you are looking for a faster, running machine- this is not for you.

I really think I need to tinker with this treadmill because of several things. When I walk on the treadmill it slows down, but I think it's because it needs to be tightened. When I'm walking and I lower the speed the treadmill goes faster for a few seconds! I was so afraid the first time it happened because I didn't want to lose my balance. I brace myself now. The heart rate doesn't seem to work properly.. It's much lower than it should be I believe. Going to adjust the whole treadmill before I call for help or send it back.

I've only had this a few days, but I can't say enough. Very sturdy, put together was a breeze. The belt just glides when you walk on the treadmill. I have several injuries and walking is the only exercise I can do. I've had other treadmills before and they don't even come close with the quality of this one. If you have someone in your family that needs the extra sturdiness and that can hold up to 400 lbs., this is the one to get. I am hoping this will last a long time. It's definitely made with quality. I am 80 and needed some exercise. I love this machine. It was a little harder to put together because the instructions were only in French. It runs very quietly and is very easy to operate, even without English instructions. It arrived 4 days earlier than expected.
