Very Sturdy machine but takes up so much room!

This is for WALKING and it is rated for the big people (up to 400 lbs) where most machines stop at 250 lbs (not enough for me) and it only goes up to 4 miles per hour so you can't run on it. It doesn't fold or compact in any way so be ready to have it out all the time.

Good value

We were looking for a sturdy treadmill, with a good weight limit and ability to accomodate an incline. It is all of these things, a good value. Keep in mind that the incline is manual. . .it is not push button and cannot be adjusted while still using the treadmill. This was not clear in the product description. Pretty quick to put together and very useful though!

customer service

I have it set up and used it. The problem is when you use it, it does not stop completely. When you hit the stop button and get off, the treadmill belt still runs very slowly. My husband called the company because when we received the package , there was a part that was damaged. He then asked for a tech support, which they dont have. He explained what was wrong and they said check the wires in the handles. Sounds complicated. Dont know who to contact about this.

Great for walking

Great treadmill for WALKING. Doc says I need to walk but the pain in my legs and feet is so overwhelming it was hard to do in public. With this product I can do in my own house and don't have to worry about being embarassed. I can start slow and short and build up from there. Also it is rated for 400lbs. A lot of what we looked at was well over $1000 for that kind of wieght rating.

Pay the money for Walmart to assemble this.

I am very happy with my new treadmill. The issue is with the delivery. UPS just dumped an open box on the porch. My husband had to drag the pieces in separately, and we almost overlooked important pieces still in the ruined box. I will never order anything like this again.

Good size, good price

Good product overall. I would have given it 5 stars but for the fact that attaching the computer to the top rail requires pushing the connection wires into a slot that is not wide enough for them. I could install only one of the two screws that secure the panel to the rail due to wiring protruding from the rail slot. I had to install longer screws to secure the computer panel to the rail. The treadmill itself is quiet and works as advertised.

I love my treadmill

I hadn't used a treadmill much before buying this one. I have always loved running - well jogging - and as I've moved from California - where there's rarely a bad day to take a jog - to the East Coast - where extremely cold or hot weather is so much more an issue - I realized that I needed to join a gym or buy a treadmill to avoid losing my fitness altogether. I did the latter. I think this is a great treadmill. It takes up a minimum amount of room (roughly 33" wide by 55" long) - we have it behind the sofa in the living room. It's very quiet. It was essentially easy to set up by my husband and stepson, but they needed to refer to the instructions. The side handles are nice and long and easy to hold. So far (3 weeks), I've had no trouble with the belt. I thought the price was good because (1) the previous reviews were positive for this model, and (2) because it would be easy to spend 2-3 times more for something with more bells and whistles and more speed, which I didn't need. The only thing I can think of to criticize is that on the left handle, just above the sensor to read your pulse while you exercise, the bottom control, the one nearest your hand, is an on/off button. It's ridiculously easy to hit it by mistake which turns the system off and necessitates having to restart the treadmill. The time doesn't reset but it's still annoying to have to turn the motor back on. Just to remind you, this treadmill has a maximum speed of 4 miles per hour. But for me, that has been enough. It also has 2 inclines to choose from: 3% and 6%. So far I'm using the 3% and at 3.6 mph, I get a very good, fast walk workout.

Great walking treadmill! We love it!

This treadmill is exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Compact size, quiet, well built, easy to assemble, and easy to operate. If you are looking for a treadmill for just walking and don't want to spend money on features that you don't really need like some of the features on the more pricey treadmills then the Exerpeutic Walking Treadmill is the one for you. We like the long handles and the 20"x40" belt size fits us perfectly.

Performs as advertised

We have been using this treadmill for about 2 weeks and we are happy so far. Seems to be very well made. We were short on space for a treadmill and this model fit our needs perfectly. We also didn't need all the cool bells and whistles associated with larger more expensive models/brands. The feedback info on this model works well for us. Noticed on reviews before our purchase that others had packaging issues during shipping. We had no issues at all.
