Plugged it in & nothing. It simply doesn't work.

So, this will be delivered to your house and you (and a friend) will have to lug it into whatever room in which you plan to use it. It's REALLY HEAVY so it won't be fun. Then you'll try to follow the terrible directions to get it set up. The whole time you're excited about your new treadmill. Then, after setup success, you plug it in, and nothing happens. Literally. It doesn't work at all. I might as well have a 400lb bag of marbles in my house. I cannot believe they would ship something to you that is so absolutely broken. And now, we have to pack it back up, lug it out to the car, and take it back to our local Walmart store. That will be a great time, reinforcing the extent of the terrible experience we had with this purchase and extending it into our rare moments of time off because of complete lack of oversight and quality assurance. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS.

Heavy Built Product

Putting this product together was quick the control panel is a little awkward but after a little fiddling it went together. The base stand pipes were bent a little to much which forced me to correct them in my shop vice but the performance of the treadmill is very impressive as in another review the belt felt a little jerky at first but when the motor worked for a while that went away. I have used this machine for a couple of weeks and it has never failed or overheated works great and after my daily three mile walks I feel great. I purchased a golds 420 gym also and will be selling it as its not even close in quality.

birthday gift for my mom

not only did my mother receive this gift a couple days sooner than I thought it would take for shipping ( I'm in MI, she's in NC), but she put it together immediately by herself. she just turned 70 and had difficult circumstances the previous 2 years which led to her weight gain and lack of exercise. she uses it 2 to 3 x a day and is regaining stamina and health. you've been more help than I can express, Walmart. Thank-you. my mom loves her birthday gift :)

Great Treadmill...

I Just Received This Treadmill 2 Weeks Ago. ThE Handle Bar Knobs Were Broken...Ordering The PArts FoR That...But It's Basically One Piece With Just 2 Or 3 Things To Do. The Manual Is Not Much Help But IS EasY To Figure Out. Don't Like That The Control Panel Is Hanging, But Love The Long Handle Bars With The Control BUttons On It. It Is Quite Running. Like The Feel Of It...It Is Heavy So You Will At Least Need 2 Or 3 People To Help Get It Out Of The Box And Up To Bonus Room If Your Putting It There. It Was Just Me & Hubby, So We Needed That Third Person. Lol.. But Overall I Love This TrEadmill And Would Recommend. The Long Handle Bars Are A Plus To Me...Really Love That Feature And Is One Reason Why I Bought It. It Does Stand Up For Space Saving, And That Was A Plus FoR Me TOo...Would Buy Again.

Fantastic for Walking!

Love this Treadmill! Had it for a week and use it everyday. It is addictive. I weigh 350lb and the machine does not strain with me on it. The belt needs adjusting every now and then. The hardest part was getting it out of the box. You need 2 people. We ended up slitting the corners and sliding the machine off that way. I had one knob handle which broke in transit. No big deal. I think the company should think about bubble wrapping them when they ship. The treadmill is exactly as described. It is extremely sturdy. My sister weighs 125lb and she tried the max speed of 4 and she was bookin' ! She said it gives her a good work out with out running. I love the preset time feature so I don't have to keep looking at the clock. It beeps at you before it stops at your preset time. I also love the convience of the controls on the handles. I can speed up and slow down at the slight movement of my thumb. I haven't exercised in years! I can't wait for the next day to get on it again. Love this product!

I bought it to walk on.

My kids 18 and 21 saw it and said "good a treadmill, I wanna run on it." I said it only goes to 4 mph and is shorter than a runner. Its for dad to get some exercise on. It is built well and has a lot of display functions, the handles are extra long with controls on them for on/off, speed up/down, heart rate monitors that read out on the display. It folds easily and only takes up about s square feet of floor space when folded. I am satisfied and recommend it.

Assembly not as simple as portrayed

I chose this treadmill after a ton of research on features and benefits and decided that this was the best option for a couple of reasons: 1). the high 400lb max user capacity and 2). the ease of assembly. I actually purchased the $89 expert assembly option but after reading countless reviews about how easy it was to assemble; I decided that I probably would not need it and cancelled it before my treadmill arrived...and that is where I went wrong. So, first things first; I started to get a little nervous when I saw the tools pack with at least 20 different sized screws and bolts along with the wrench/Philips screwdriver it came with. See, to me simple does not involve me reviewing diagrams on where to place a part and then screwing it into place. To me, simple means that there may be a few basic parts that easily "snap" into place or connect to each other. So after screwing the 1st set of screws on the stabilizer bar which was pretty simple; I got frustrated and gave up when I couldn't figure out how to fit the stabilizer on the machine itself. So, while the assembly may be simple for most; if you know that you are particularly challenged with this type of thing then you may want to purchase the expert assembly or hire a handyman on thumbtack.com to assist you if there is no one around you that can help. For feedback to the manufacturer--it would be extremely helpful to provide video instructions for the assembly which would be beneficial for those of us who are visual learners. I scoured YouTube looking for a video assembly tutorial, and the only one I could find did not show how to attach the stabilizer bar. Apparently, there are different versions of this same model and I believe some may come more fully assembled than others because the tutorial I saw appeared to have the stabilizer bar already attached right out of the box. Otherwise, I am pleased with the machine thus far considering that I haven't got it fully assembled yet. It came packaged very well and it is as sturdy as other reviewers have indicated. It doesn't take up too much space, although it is a nice size for a simply designed piece of home equipment. The base is comparable to what you might find in a commercial treadmill at a gym but designed for home usage. So my point is if you are a heavier guy or gal; you should feel secure on it and not feel like you are going to break it. So those are my initial thoughts for now--I will update my review after I get it up and running and fully operational.

Perfect for larger people!

It's quiet, runs smooth and wide enough for larger people. I have had a regular one and I found that my shoes were catching on the sides, because it wasn't wide enough, but this one is great! It doesn't bother my joints. It's just a smooth walk. Highly recommended.

good for price

treadmill does well, have had no problems, the only thing I do not like about it is, the buttons on the handles, when i move my hands/let go of the handles and replace my hands I have a tendency to hit the on/off button and the treadmill stops, I have to reset the speed in the middle of my work out, I know it only takes a couple of seconds but when I'm in the middle of a workout it kind of throws me off, a little aggrivating

Money well spent

I purchased this treadmill for my daughter and she loves it. My daughter and I put it together in about 20 minutes. My daughter is a bigger girl and she was worried that it would not work because of her weight. It has worked perfectly for her and she uses it every day. I was worried that it would not be that well built machine because of the price but it well worth the money.
