There are many different settings and it is energy efficient which is wonderful as I am looking to have lower bills! Installation was easy and the display is clear and straightforward. I downloaded the LG app on my phone and can see how many minutes are left in the cycle without having to go down into my basement to check.

Reliable, user-friendly, modern, and has less water wastage.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The drum is huge and fits an extraordinary amount of laundry. It’s also extremely quiet, I honestly had to check to make sure it was running. Setup was very easy and balancing was not a problem. Vibration has been almost nonexistent and the spin is strong. I couldn’t get the test cycle to work, but my first real wash went well and everything came out very clean. I also noticed the spin cycle pulls more water out than my previous washer, which is a bonus. The downside is the “smart” setup, I had difficulty getting the Wi-Fi and app connection working and I still haven’t been able to complete it. The manual also seems a bit incorrect for my model. Great washer for capacity and quiet performance.

I purchased the WT8205CW 3 months ago. There's NO delicate cycle, I cannot choose the water level like low, medium or high. Some computer genius thought the machine should choose that for me. There's NO soak cycle and some times my clothes are so filthy that I need an aggressive agitation cycle which doesn't exist on this machine. Overall, save your money and buy washer that has more versatility and flexibility with it's use and features. I'm selling my 8205 and buying a different brand. I am so very unhappy with this machine.

Im happy to report if your on the fence about purchasing this LG washer look no further. Technology has come a long way and this washing machine proves it with 8+ preset modes that cater to your every need. From normal mode to Ai the washer has done a great job. So many settings to choose from and you can even set your own preferred setting from your phone with Download mode! The drum in this machine is big! I've thrown clothes, towels and even a king size comforter in with ease and everything comes out clean! My biggest surprise from this washer is how incredibly quiet it is in operation. I highly recommend this if your in need of a new washer!

My wife loves this washer because it has an agitator (our previous washer didn't) and it's not too deep so she can reach small items, like socks, on the bottom. It has Wi-Fi and works with the LG app, so you get notified on your phone when a wash is complete. You can also download extra wash cycles that aren't available on the front panel and send them to the washer, a cool feature that we have used more than once already.

I have 4 littles so home life is purse chaos majority of the time and even though it plays a nice jingle when the cycle is done, having a notification to my phone/watch has been a game changer! I can be outside playing with the kids and know when the cycle is done and needs to be switched over! The capacity is amazing too! I can fit soo much stuff without it being overpacked and being a household of 6, this is a necessity! My only regret is not also buying the matching dryer! It is also super user friendly!

I was tired of having to clean out the front and wanted to go back to a top loader. Let me just say that this washer is superior. The control panel is simple, yet stylish. It offers so many wash options. The design of the unit makes it easy and accommodating to reach in to pull clothes out. The lid is a SlamProof lid, which is great when you have children in the house. The washer isn’t loud, at most you can hear the water filling up. It has a 4.8 cu. ft. capacity, which means large loads are possible. Another great thing is that it has a 4-way agitator that moves clothes up, down, left and right. You can also choose the deep fill option to add extra water, or keep it at the high-efficiency level. This is a plus for large loads. If you want to get the most out of your washer, you can download the LG ThinQ App. It is so helpful to be able to see on the time the washer has left without having to get up to look. If I am downstairs, I most likely won’t hear the musical timer go off. There are more features on the app. Check it out!
