I'm not a Stella fan at all unfortunately ... I say unfortunately as it's very popular in the pubs and clubs and a fair few people I know regularly drink it. I have tried it a few times over the years and I'm not convinced. It's nicknamed 'The Wife-beater' here in the UK because of how angry it made people when they were drunk. I'm told that it's changed over the years and isn't what it was. It's still a no from me!

It’s a light beer that has a floral hoppy scent, and is not overpowering. It’s low in carbonation and does not have a big head when poured. Personally, I find the bottles maintain the taste the best. The finish is crisp and it is very refreshing. If you’re looking for a solid choice, that’s easy drinking a lot of people will like pick up a six pack of Stella.

In the festivity of St. Patrick's Day, I decided to use this to slow cook some corned beef. It was absolutely delicious, especially with the beer and beef broth mixture. It's excellent for cooking, but it's up to your discretion if you want to enjoy it as a beverage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to preface this by saying I usually am not a beer person, but Stella Artois has to be one of the easiest beers to get into if you’re new to the world of beer and/or not the biggest fan of craft beers. The six-pack presentation is quite nice, and it has become my go-to for casual gatherings and backyard grilling. Lately, it’s been a perfect companion to my carne asadas. When you crack open one of these bottles for the first time, you can definitely smell the classic lager scent that’s common for these beers. The crisp and balanced flavor perfectly complements the richness of any grilled meat in a very satisfying way. Good carbonation. Good mouthfeel overall. Honestly, although I’m not a big fan of beer in general, I’m seriously considering making Stella Artois a staple at my future cookouts. It’s easy to drink and definitely worth a try, even if you’re not a big beer drinker like I am.
