Similar to 'doner meat' I used to buy in Britain. I've been putting it on pizza. Also, can go on top of fries... the grease drips down and makes the fries extra delicious. Or do the traditional pita bread deal, but kick the Greek sauce, and use some type of spicy chili sauce instead.

This doesn't taste nearly as good as it would in a restaurant, but that's to be expected. For the price, the taste is perfectly adequate. The reason I would not recommend it is because it is just SO GREASY. After you pat it down with half a roll of paper towels, even more of the taste is lost.

Any kind of Gyro meat is very difficult to find...sliced or in a cone. The Kronos brand is one of the best. It is impossible to find Gyro meat in a grocery store...I found it once in a small store that sold food items and equipment usually available to restaurants only...they stopped selling the Gyro meat in a year or so. Imagine my delight and surprise when the latest Sam's Club sales flyer came out, and Kronos Sliced Gyro Meat was featured on the front. I almost immediately went to my Sam's store to find it...which I did and bought 8 boxes. Why so much? Because the sign with the price said it was a limited time only item. Sam's Club...if you read this...it might be wise to have this available as a regularly stocked item. Now I won't be needing any for a little while...but I will again eventually. You may even begin to sell to some small restaurants, who couldn't get this product through their usual suppliers. Keep the Gyro Meat in stock..not just a one time good deal!...And Thank You for having it in your stores at all.
