Awesome gyros at home

This is a good product. Taste is fairly authentic to what you'd get in a Greek restaurant. Will buy it again. The Pita Sam's sells is very good too.

Great when reheated right

This is one of the few places we can find small quantities of authentic gyro meat. The key is not to overcook it. Combine this with Hidden Valley Ranch Greek Yogurt Cucumber Dill (basically commercial tzatziki sauce), onion, tomato, lettuce, and fetta for cheese for top of the line homemade Gyros. Opa!

Glad it's become a Stocked Item

Started off as a limited Item. Tried it, and was hooked. Great Flavor, easy to prepare. Meat is tender, and versatile in many meals. Stocked my Freezer for when I need a quick, simple and great tasting meal.

Very tasty.

I love gyros but I live in a small town and have to drive 30 miles or more to get my fix. The meat tastes just like what they carve off the spindles in a greek restaurant. It is an unappetizing color at first but I put it in a skillet to heat and it toasts right up. Purchase or whip up some tzatziki sauce and you are set. Best part, you can use any form of bread you like. I use fluffy tortillas whip are much easier to find and just as good in my not so humble opinion. Bon appetite!

Restaurant Quality For Greek Restaurant in USA

Really tasty and just like gyro meat you would have in a Greek restaurant (in the US of course!). Comes in two large pouches so you can thaw and cook only what you need. Takes a few minutes to brown in a skillet (doesn't need any added oil) then ready to add to warm pitas or naan with tzatziki sauce, diced tomato & red onions. Yum!

Great to have on hand! Delicious and Easy!

This Gyro meat is delicious and super easy to prepare (we chose the oven method). I made homemade Tzatziki sauce and served chopped up cucumbers and thin sliced red onion. (Black olives for those that like them) Instead of pita, we made this a salad with romaine lettuce. We also had sliced tomatoes. Wonderful to keep this Gyro meat in the freezer for an easy meal. It comes with 2 packages per box. One package equaled about 5 servings for us, so you could get 10 servings out of one box.

Delish!!!

We love gyros and our local gyro cafe closed several months ago. These are the best substitute! Taste just like the restaurant kind. I heat them in a skillet and get a little “crispy” on the edges...serve with pitas, lettuce, tzatziki sauce and feta...YUMMY! We buy a box once a month.

Great taste but pretty greasy

Tons of food for the price. Just make sure you reheat it thoroughly. There's a lot of oil in it that you'll want to cook off.

Fills the crave

Not as flavorful as I wanted. Also texture sort of mushy. I miss the original Olgas gyros from my childhood in Michigan. More like roasted meat, probably with more lamb. Dress it up with sauce, onions, good pots and cayenne pepper and it fills the crave.
