I've had the dehumidifier for a week and it is working great! Just purchased an older bi level home that is finished on both levels and has electric heat. Not much for air flow that one would have with a gas furnace so it kind of gives the home a bit of a damp feeling along with a cooler temperature. After researching many other brands I chose this machine because it was an Energy Star, has a washable filter (rather than having to buy replacement filter) and it had many of the other features I was looking for. The water bucket is easy to remove when full. It's not whisper quiet but it's not irritatingly noisy either. The price was decent and I'm just happy that it is performing as it is described to do. I currently have it placed in the middle of the family room where it is keeping the entire lower level at a drier and warmer climate.

We are very impressed with the effectiveness of this unit. The product was definitely removing 50 pints per day from our basement the first week. We have noticed a significant difference in the air quality and odor (was getting a heavy must smell). The automatic shutoff worked perfectly so as not allow an overfill condition. We have also hooked up a 25 foot garden hose on the other side of the unfinished part of the basement to allow continuous drainage to take place. Very satisfied with the product.

I've is owned this dehumidifier for a few weeks now. It runs reasonably quiet and the water bucket is fairly easy to empty (I don't use the drain hose connection). I do have issues with it though. When running it gives off a somewhat unpleasant odor. I've used dehumidifiers for many years and I've never experienced that before. Also, the fan seems to hardly ever shut off, even though I assume the compressor is cycling on and off (I can't hear when it does, since the fan doesn't shut off). Also, the humidifier setting seems way off compared to the two humidity gauges I have. When I have the humidifier set to 55, my other two gauges read around 40%. When I set the humidifier to 60, the other two gauges stay around 50%. I'm considering returning it and trying another unit.

We purchased this dehumidifier for our daughter. She was having problems with too much moisture in her home. It was to the point where water was actually dripping from the vents and there were places where dangerous black mold was forming. She set up this dehumidifier in her lower level utility room (has a split-level home). Within 12 hours, the bucket was full. It has been drying up the air very well. Their old unit was so loud, they had to turn it off to watch TV; this unit is much quieter. She is very happy with it with the exception that the bucket is somewhat unwieldy when it is full (she has no drain in the are so is unable to hook up a hose to the unit so she wouldn't have to empty it). She definitely recommends this product.

Has been in use for a week and in no time it had the bucket full. I have since hooked up the hose connection to automatically drain. Good feature. The humity adjustment is another good idea.

Really amazed at how much water this manages to pull out of my home. Helps me to keep my house temperature higher so that using the air conditioner is almost unnecessary. Many features that make this product excel others offered.

This dehumidifier was easy to set up (open box, take out of box, plug in) and it has been taking a lot of water out of my basement. I empty it everyday and have had it running almost non-stop for a week. I would highly recommend this unit.

This machine dropped the humidity in my house by 25% within the first couple of hours. It works great. Quieter than most dehumidifiers. Can hold a lot of water too. Rolls easy. Looks cool. One negative is i think the sensor in the machine for detecting the humidity is a little off. The machine says 50% and my other humidity readers/sensors say 40%. Overall it's awesome

This is my third dehumidifier ever. It is quieter than my previous two, fine for the basement, but I wouldn't want it in my living room. All you hear is the fan, not the compressor. Wasn't sure it was working at first, but it filled up the bucket in one night.

This unit is so quiet and does a wonderful job of removing the moisture from the surrounding air. We use it in our recreation room, in the basement. It's not far from where we watch TV, and we never even know it's there. We have had others that have disturbing motor-sounds. This does NOT.
