This is a very efficient unit, dropped the humidity correctly and the hose outlet made it almost maintenance free. Perfect for our needs. The basement is finally useable space!

Very easy to setup and operate. Humidity indicator which reads both setup and actual humidity readings is a plus feature. Water capture tank is smaller than my previous units but is adequate to capture one day's worth of moisture.

I little to early to tell, seems to work ok, the only thing so far is the smell it gives off, kind of burns the nose and throat, I hope the smell goes away..

I have just had it for a few days and it is working great. It was pretty noisy for the first few hours, but then it quieted down. I can't say anymore until I get my first electric bill.

Within 2 days, the mildew smell in basement is gone! I bought this based on recommendations shown. I set it on top of a table and ran hose into laundry sink. It's quiet and does what it's supposed to do.

This replaced a 15 ish year old Whirlpool 40 pint unit. Definitely more efficient! Seems well designed. Not sure yet about power consumption, but it has to be better than the old one.

The smaller size suits me to a tee. The water container is much easier to handle than a 70 point and it's perfect for the small room in which I need it.

I've owned a few dehumidifiers over the years, but this one has to be the best. Its a great product for the price, easy to move and use, works the way I want.

This dehumidifier functions pretty good so far, the bucket slides out easily and has a convenient carry handle for emptying. Moves from one place to another with no difficulty.

Purchased this 50 pint Frigidaire Dehumidifier on 5/14/13. Started it up on 5/22/13. The compressor stopped working on 6/21/13. Contacted Frigidaire on 6/27/13 and they offered to buy the unit back for the purchase price, less tax and shipping and I had to pay to ship it back to Frigidaire. Lost a lot of money on this bad unit. Frigidaire should recall all these units and fix the bad compressors at no cost to their customers. DO NOT BUY THIS DEHUMIDIFIER!!!!!!!
