Delivery to my local Wamart was ahead of schedule. Have not had the dehumidifier long enough to comment on its performance. My disappointment is in how loud the machine is when running. There was no information on noise levels in the Walmart website's specifications. I went with a reliable brand name and gave a further edge to Frigidaire because the unit was 7-8 lbs. lighter, and I valued the easier portability.

When we need to replace them (which is not very often) we get the next latest model. We love them! They are easy to use, clean and they are fairly quiet. I would highly recommend.

We are using this in our basement. Unbelievable what this is pulling from the air. The basement feels great now and I do think it is also causing our air conditioning to run less. Only had for a few weeks so will know better as time goes on. Right now my only doubt is whether or not I should have gotten the next size up. Overall I am very satisfied with this model. It just sounds like a fan blowing. Not bothersome to me at all.

This dehumidifier is great ,, really takes the moisture out and makes air conditioning air cooler. I also have fabric for sewing and it keep that really dry and cool . A must have if you are experiencing moist air in your house , basement , Florida room .

Frigidaire no longer honors their 5 year sealed system warranty. All you have is the 1 year warranty. So, if you lose the compressor, condensor, tubing leaks, coolant loss after 1 year, you're out of luck! If you can get through to their customer service or get an email back, they tell you these units aren't worth servicing. Sometimes, they'll offer you a coupon for a % off buying another one - NO THANKS!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement dehumidifier. It works very well and has been for a month. My only issue is that if it runs continuously with a pump, it adds significantly to my electric bill. If I don't use the pump and just empty it regularly, the amount it holds is very heavy.

It runs automatically in the basement. I hooked up a hose to it, so it drains into a floor drain and I don't have to empty the bucket. All I need to do is clean the filter every now and then. Service was excellent when I had a question and needed to call.

We bought this about 2 months ago to replace our old dehumidifier that died. I am extremely satisfied with this model and specifically the ability to hook a drain hose directly up to the unit. This ability to bypass the bucket and drain directly to the sump pump is a welcomed time saver.

My basement doesn't appear to have water/moisture in it but with the humid summer we noticed it started smelling musty and some light mold was developing on items that weren't in proper containers. This machine has been helping with that and it just feels and smells better in the basement. I recommend this product to anyone needing a quality dehumidifier.
