I bought this dehumidifier to replace one that was two years old and I've been very satisfied with its performance. I immediately noticed how the humidity level in the basement improved. I have it draining into the sump pump drain, but I do check it daily to make sure all is well.

This one I found though an independent product review site, and I've been very happy with it. It can remove 50 pints of moisture out of the basement in a short amount of time, and it's incredibly quiet and efficient. Cleaning the filter is super easy as well.

I bought this to replace it, realizing I didn't need that much drying capacity, and this one draws less current and runs more of the time, which keeps the airflow going and my basement dry. This one blows the air out the top, which means I can place it anywhere, and I like that much better than the side exhaust of the earlier model.

Normally I buy 65 pint unit for my basement for summer season for removing humidity. My first dehumidifier from Sears for my first house lasted 27 years. Since then all my dehumidifiers, regardless of brands, last only 3 years or less. I don't know why, but that how they make them now. Once broken you can not repair. I am searching where to dispose the previous broken unit. Another load to the ever increasing trash on the earth. I bought 3 year warranty with this unit. Because this unit will also last only 3 years or less I can only give 4 star rating. So far it is working very well. Best price and performance for dehumidifier if you buy from Walmart for the price I paid (the lowest online price). No shipping charge, I picked up from the local Walmart.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dehumidifier in July; it works beautifully. I use it in my basement and leaves it smelling so fresh; it works like a charm. I would have rated it five stars, but the auto drainage is not working. It will not auto drain with the hose and the kit I ordered for it did not fit the machine even though it was for that style humidifier.

Bought my first unit in April 2013. Worked well all summer. This spring when I tried to use it all it would do is frost up the lower half of the coils. Contacted Frigidaire, since it was still under warranty, and after a little effort was able to get a new unit shipped to a local Frigidaire dealer. The replacement is working fine, so far. Time will tell.

Our humidity festival started early this year and I am amazed at how much water the humidifier sucks out of the air. Works as stated, easy to move, easy to empty (water goes to the garden, so we'll save on that too!) It is fairly quiet, but you can hear it running. This size works well for our open living room/dining room/kitchen area. I plan to buy a smaller unit for our master bedroom. Arrived quickly, well-packed.

With in a couple days it dried out the basement and helped get rid of the musty smell. After I set to a 55% humidity and it has been awesome. Great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We didn't realize our old unit really had not worked well for some time. This new unit collects water twice as gast and is much quieter than our old unit. We no longer fight to get rid of that damp smell.

I bought this about a month ago to replace the same model that lasted one year. I have replaced one of these from several brands on a yearly basis. The freon leaks out of all of them. This one has a nice console and plastic where bucket goes so it doesn't rust. If you don't expect these to last very long and commit to replacing them on a regular basis you won't be disappointed.
