We use our dehumidifier all day every day in our basement and it works like a champ! This unit takes an unbelievable amount of moisture out of the air to help our clothes dry faster and to keep our finished basement smelling fresh and dry all the time.

Great Product! It quickly pulls out moisture from a room as long as you don't have windows open! The hookup hose in the back is a very convenient feature if you don't have the time to empty or are to lazy to empty the water that collects. The increments are by 5% up or down...not by 1%, lacking an extremely fine tuned control, but should be good enough for your average user. Clean and Simple, overall great design!

I have no problems with this dehumidifier, which is more than I can say about my last two (different brands). It works well and I've had no problems with it. In answer to the question on this site, "Would you recommend this product to a friend?" yes I would but the site allows only 2 choices, either "probably not" or "yes, it's amazing," which is absurd! It's not amazing; it has worked well for the 6 weeks that I've had it, as it should, and if Frigidaire considers that to be amazing then they need to re-examine their corporate values.

This is the first dehumidifier I have owned that allows me to set the desired humidity in my basement. The benefit of this is that I used to run my dehumidifier constantly because I didn't know what the level was. Now I set it at the desired level to keep moisture in the proper range and it only turns on when it needs to. So this is a big energy saver for me. I feel good about that. I have only owned it for 2 weeks but so far it is running fine. I ran it constantly for the first few days and then set the desired level.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to help with the high Florida humidity, it has really helped to reduce the a/c cooling load, and the house feels more comfortable. We had been smelling a 'musty odor' before and that is now gone. I was afraid of getting mold but with this - I now rest and feel better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this a month so far and it works great. It pulls so much moisture out of the room usually empty the bucket mornings and evenings. Yes there is a little bit of heat that comes from it as others have mentioned, but not a problem in any way. The bucket goes backs in easily if you place the bottom end on a slight tilt in first, then push at the bottom, plus a little flat handed tap at the top and it is in. If you try to place it in straight on, it doesn't work as well, practice a few times. I also prefer to empty the bucket before it is full, just easier for me. I would definitely buy it again, very happy with it.

Once we started using the humdifier our windows were never wet again. The water chamber was full each morning! Thsnk you for msking such a good unit!

We have a lot of humidity here in western Oregon, and it has totally resolved the humidity issues in our condo. It has been wonderful. Our unit is 720 square feet and the 50 liter has been perfect for us.

We have been very pleased with this dehumidifier. It removes quite a bit of humidity from the air in the room. We have found that we feel much cooler and have been able to raise our thermostat and still be very comfortable. Wish we would have gotten one of these sooner!
