[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple of weeks ago to replace a 10 year old one. So far so good. It's been extremely hot and humid here in NY recently and the new dehumidifier been doing the job I expected it to do.

I bought this about 45 days ago--looks to be working really well in our basement. It is not too loud, and seems to be doing a good job. We hooked it up to a hose so that the water would drain directly into our sump pump. Very easy to do, and no leaks.

We turn it off when the humidity is very low, but it runs smoothly, doesn't make a lot of noise, and is fairly easy to dump the water......though it gets heavy when it's full. Hubby and I are in our mid 60's and have no problem emptying the tank.

With a little price comparison, and a local retailer willing to price match the lowest price I could find, I'm very happy with my unit. Quite effective and much more quite than the old unit.

This is the fourth Dehumidifier I have had. The last three lasted first one three years, second one two years and third one only one year. Frigidaire has replaced all the defective ones at no cost. I guess I can't complain about that. So far this unit works great. Set at 45 % humidity it fills the bucket in 24 hours or less.

I bought this humidifier at the end of July. It worked well for a couple of months. I went to the basement to empty the bucket last week and their was water on the floor. I cleaned it up and tried it again and got the same result. The water isn't going into the bucket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I purchased for our basement and could tell results within 2 hours after we plugged the unit in. We have been using the bucket feature, but plan on changing to the drain option. Would definitely recommend.

The unit is simple to operate and set up. I connected a 1/2" hose to the back as i did my last one for continuous drain. I'm impressed with this one mostly how quiet it is. My last one sounded like a shuttle launch. This one I need to stand next to, to hear it running.
