Customer ratings & reviews forThe picture not any better than last year's model
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We watch both comcast provided channels and streaming apps. Some apps are slow to response initially. Voice sync is not good on either comcast or apps. Need to use remotes from Samsung and Comcast to switch between apps and regular channels. Once a set blue tooth speakers were selected was unable to add additional set blue tooth speakers. Yes, the picture is good as last year's model. Why do i still have it? Good question. I haven't decided if all these problems are the product, comcast or me. All i can say is we didn't have these problems with last year's model.
Sunshine2, Thank you for choosing Samsung’s QN90A TV and sharing your experience with sound delay issues. It could possibly be a source issue, but if you are hearing an audio delay across all sources/channels and you have a Home Theatre System or other speakers connected to your TV, you can access the Audio Delay settings to increase the audio delay. Go to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay Please know that our 2021 TVs do have an audio Pass-Through feature. This feature allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external Soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external Soundbar or receiver then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay. On your TV go to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through You can control your Comcast cable using your TV’s remote by following these set-up steps: 1) Connect an external device to the HDMI port of the TV, and then power on the external device. Your TV will automatically recognize the device when connected through HDMI and will switch the output. If it doesn't automatically detect it, then keep following the steps to set up Universal Remote. 2) Press the Home button on your TV remote to access the Home Screen. Using the directional pad on the remote, navigate to Source. When the selector is placed over Source, the Source menu will appear. Press UP on the directional pad to access Universal Remote. 3) Select Universal Remote on the Source screen. Next, select Start and make sure the device you want to connect is turned on. When your desired device displays, select it. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup and register the device. The instructions may vary, depending on the device type selected. 4) Your TV and the remote will memorize the external device and its connection port (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc.) to make controlling everything even easier. Occasionally, the device may not respond after it's registered. To make sure the connection is made, you need to re-register the device. Please keep in mind when pairing Bluetooth devices to your TV, the connection is one-to-one – meaning your TV can only connect one Bluetooth device at a time. However, you can still output audio from both your TV speakers and Bluetooth devices simultaneously. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Multi-output Audio. Bright and brilliant!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We watch sports! A lot of sports! So crisp colors and motion must be accurate. Samsung doesn't miss the mark with this one! Gaming and streaming are also great! Apps or very easy to get to and manage.
Amazing TV!
Bought it a month ago and love it and it's features. We initially had to return a QLED Samsung due to a damaged pixel bulb within 1 yr and 3 months of being purchased. This one definitely exceeds the previous purchase when we were a little hesitant in going with another Samsung TV.
Thank you, Shica12! We love to hear positive feedback and we’re delighted you’re enjoying your new Samsung TV.
Great purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great transition in terms of switching from gaming to regular television. In addition the quality presented when using the television is also good. I would also recommend upping the size of the madoles a bit in order to break through certain limitations
Welcome to 2021!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Switching from a 2010 Samsung LCD TV to one of their 4K QLEDs has been quite the jump! Very happy with premium quality of the product, from the build to the quality of the picture and smart features.
Thank you, James! We love to hear positive feedback and we’re delighted you’re enjoying your new Samsung TV.
Amazing picture.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Primarly used for Movies and gaming and some TV. Excellent color. Brightness so good it can be viewed outside. Ample inputs and great improvement on the user interface. Blacks are on par with OLED TV's with the new Neo QLED system. Anti reflective coating absorbs almost all reflections.
This TV exceeds my expectations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV has provided an incredible picture, exceeding my expectations. The instructions for assembly are simple and easy to follow. We had it up and running in less than an hour. We used the stand for a week before mounting it to the wall. The mounting to the wall was a bit much so required a professional. They had it up and running without a hitch. We enjoy movies on the this TV so much that we are hard pressed to go out. It's our mini theater now.
A very good TV that could be great!
I purchased the 65", QN90A after spending a good six months researching all of the top television sets available. I am quite impressed with the TV. The picture is very detailed and it can get extremely bright. I have zero complaints about picture quality. Where I am a bit annoyed is with the DSE/vertical lines on the screen. Now I should start by saying that straight on, the DSE is quite good. I know there will always be some but this television isn't too bad. I do notice it though, especially during sports. The real bummer is that when sitting at an angle to the tv, there are noticeable/faint vertical lines down the entire screen. It's very noticeable with sports or lighter content. Some say this vertical banding will go away with time, but I don't buy that. I paid $4000 all in for this television so to see this is a real letdown. I love the tv, but this issue is definitely frustrating.
Hi Scotty1818, thanks so much for your kind words! We sincerely appreciate your feedback and will share this with our team. We hope you enjoy many years of great entertainment with your Samsung TV!
Good picture. Bright.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recommend seating round 16ft away. I love the brightness. If kids scream tv auto increases volume til they stop. Get the best internet you can for this size. Apple TV is amazing on this! Never cared about TVs but we have a family now. The last tv we bought was in 2010 a 42” LG flat screen 1080p. The Samsung for us is better than the oled in a side by side comparison for brightness and picture quality for movies, sports, general tv viewing. We are not gamers. There is a plethora of 4K really only on Netflix, a few Amazon prime, all of new Apple TV shows, some YouTube. From my understanding nfl is to be live 4K. Looking forward to putting the tv through the motions. Easy to setup and unbox. Does need 2 people to move to final place. The remote is solar and fast charge. I love the remote it died once in the month I put by the window and was fine in less than a minute. It is also controlled by Alexa so a good fail safe to turn tv on/off. Easy to screen mirror our Mac, iPad, and iPhone and picture is amazing! When more content goes to 8k I will upgrade in several years. Only regret is not have more money to get the bigger screen!
The perfect TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV IS PERFECT!! I can watch It comfortably without wearing my glasses. The picture is so clear. I use all the smart features to watch my favorite movie/show apps with the help of the Alexa voice command on the remote. It adds to the luxury feel
