i left a previous review in which i was unhappy with the judder and the motion compensation, and i had audio lag issues. samsung recommended that i update the firmware. at the time my tv was on version 15xx. the latest available release was 1804.5 (iirc). i upgraded to the latest version and all of the issues i was having were resolved. there is no audio lag and i no longer see the motion issues. i would now recommend the qn90a.

Amazing features~ competition where?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use our TV for many things: smart streaming shows, kids apps, as well as I'm learning to use this TV for work. I throw what is on my phone to this TV so it considerably increases the size of what I was doing on my phone. I essentially am using my TV like a BIG computer monitor. I LOVE THIS FEATURE!!! This TV is above and beyond all my other TVs. It has more capabilities than just a TV! I havent even talked about the pixels, clarity of video image, or audio quality yet!!! Simply put I made a great investment with this model and couldn't be happier. This is more than a TV!!! Thank you Samsung!
Samsung is our choice.

Amazing picture and and very fast loading

I use it to game, watch movies, and the speakers on the tv have incredible sound so sometimes I use it to just play music. the best feature with this tv in my opinion would be its ability to work with smart speakers in the home. Being able to control the tv with my voice is extremely convenient.
Amazing future proof features

The TV had nexgen TV and I love using it here in Detroit also this TV is crazy bright never have a problem with 1080p content. Also love the fact that you can choose Alexa google or samsung assistant. Looking at another one for the guest room.
Beautiful QLED TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loves our new QLED 4K Smart TV! Unboxing the television was very easy, though setting it up on the stand it comes on was quite a task. My husband, self, and son tried several times to place one of the screws to the stand and it would not take at all so we ended up leaving that one out. Upon setting the tv up, I was very excited that there were two options, via mobile app or using the remote control. I initially chose the app option as I already had the SmartThings app on my phone. Unfortunately, it was not as smooth of a process as I would've liked. It took multiple attempts before the set up finally went through using the app. Once the TV was set up we immediately starting watching the free Samsung TV. The picture is absolutely beautiful and the sound is powerful! I am still learning of all the various features the TV has to offer but one I couldn't figure out the ROKU app. When I select it, it just opens a screen that scrolls and it shows the ROKU logo. I also would like to see more streaming apps made available on the TV. I love the idea of having a solar-powered remote control as well as being able to charge with a cord. I am excited to also be able to use Alexa with my television and being able to use the app on the phone but would like to see a keyboard option on there so I can enter email/user names and passwords to sign in to different apps on the TV. Overall we are all really enjoying the television and look forward to having it for many years to come!
The Best...

Sometimes, and maybe those are the best times, we just stumble across a new item that it has. One thing is for sure, this NEO set is full of nice surprises. We couldn't be happier with it.
Great TV with lots of features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought to replace a 55" 2016 model this new tv is mainly for streaming. Image and sound are fantastic. Paired with a Q800A sound bar we are getting the great dolby atmos sound in a lots of movies and series from Netflix and others streaming services. Price is not to high as in the 8K model. I like the smart remote too.
Great picture and solid audio
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from an old 55" 720P Samsung DLP set. The 85" QLED picture is stunning in comparison. Screen is way brighter overall. Darks are darker. Contrast is amazing. And the sound is much more full than our old TV. I've been using the built-in apps on the TV with a hardwired Ethernet connection. Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video all work great with TV remote. The TV remote supports Google Assistant which makes things even that much easier. I compared the picture quality of the built-in apps on hardwired Ethernet to my Wifi-based Chromecast Ultra attached on an HDMI port on the same QN90A, and the picture quality of the built-in apps is much better. The QN90A even has an app for Verizon FiOS. And using that app, the TV remote can fully control the most-used features of the cable box. And again with built-in Google Assistant support, you can press a button and tell it what TV channel or show you want to watch, which is very nice. It took me a while to figure out our particular sound system set up. I have a 6.1 surround sound system in place. I wanted to be able to run it in parallel with the internal TV speakers. In order to set that up to work properly, I had to switch the sound output on the optical link from "Auto" to "PCM". When I did that, when I selected the internal TV speakers as output, the optical link stayed active and I was able to switch my receiver into 6.1 mode and it all worked. I'm very happy with the QN90A and would highly recommend.
Good TV
I bought the TV a month ago on samsung.com, there is a slight bend(bowing) to the screen out of the box. I have been trying to get this TV replaced but have been unsuccessful in the last 3 and ½ weeks. The TV looks great (of course if i get the replacement and do not see the bend) my rating will change and this TV has good features.
