I bought 5 bags of this stuff and put it on even extra and made sure it was watered like directed. I now have more tunnels than I had before, not sure but must have fed the grubs instead of killing them. This was the biggest waste of time and money for something that was guaranteed.

I applied the grub treatment in early May. I have noticed severe patches of dead grass. I originally assumed it was from lack of rain. I began watering religiously. The yard started to look really good with the exception of the same patchy dead spots. I decided to dig and found live grubs. Very frustrating!

I have no complaints whatsoever and I would definitely recommend this product . The instructions were clear and concise. My only regret is that I did not try this product years ago.

Bought this product today to treat grub worms in my yard. Had I realized that I needed 1 inch of water after applying to my lawn, I would have NEVER purchased the product. Does Scott's realize how much 1 inch of water is? Scott's, you really need to work on this..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had grubs for 3 years in n a row which almost killed most of my lawn. Since I have been applying Gurbex annually for several years there is no trace of grubs. My lawn is beautiful and the best in the neighborhood.

Grub Ex was applied to my large yard (approximately 15,000 sq.ft. It was my first time using Grub Ex. We had just purchased the house in July 2013 aand prior to settlement a large number of mounds were noticeable in the front yard. This was a result of Japanese Beetles larvae hatching and burrowing through the grass. Rose bushes, ornamental cherry trees and red maple trees seem to attract the beetles. Being a novice, I purchased and applied Grub Ex in the late summer 2013. This Spring 2014, I didn't have any burrows in the lawn but did have Japanese Beetles in the ornamental cherry trees, red maple tree, and on the rose bushes. Beetle bags didn't put a dent in the problem. I purchased Neem Oil and mixed it with water. I applied it to the problem plants and the Beetles have not returned. If Scott's could make a Neem Oil product I would definitely buy it. A very satisfied Scott's customer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this 10x10 area in the back yard where the grass was always dead looking. So I checked the Scotts website to see what the problem might be. The website told me to check for possible grub damage. So I got my square shovel and lifted a one foot square piece of sod up, and oh my god the grubs. They were eating the roots of the grass causing the lawn to look like dead grass. So I used the GrubEx the next summer, and I haven't had any grub problems, and the back yard never looked better. Thank you Scotts for a great product.

I, in years past, have had issues with grub damage to my lawn. In addition I have had to deal with beatles dinning on my garden plants. I began using Scotts Grubex in the late spring several years ago. It has controlled the lawn damage and eliminated the Japanese beatles. It is an extreemly easy solution to a not so nice situation.

I definitely had grubs - found quite a few digging around the yard here and there. I applied this product a couple of years ago, and subsequent digging has not turned up any grubs. My initial goal was to help eliminate moles! I had a pretty major mole problem, and eliminating the excellent food source grubs provide goes a long way towards that yard battle.

I do not have a large lawn in Noethwest Florida. I have a buffer area behind my home that is quite large. Have many critters that come from the preserve and armadillos. I have been dealing with armadillos for years. Decided to challange the armadillos head on. I put down the Grubex all over my entire yard. Including the bushes and areas that has a lot of pine bark. Watered in as directed. I now have little damage in the bush and grasssy areas. However, All the beds that have pine bark has become a buffet. I tried putting down more Grubex, in thae area, watered it in well and the armadilos have not stopped digging in that area at all. I went out this morning 5/18/24 and they dug up the entire area of that has the pine bark. I took photos but the ability to ad photos was not working.
