Good but sad

I like the cookies and that the dough is edible, but I really wish there was a way to buy a roll of the dough without the chocolate chips haha. I don't like chocolate but the dough is my favorite and it's different than a regular sugar cookie dough because of the molasses. Is there a way to make that happen?

Prefer the old ones

We bought these when they switched from the tub of cookies to prepackaged pre cut ones as shown above. These come in 3 separate packets of 24 small pre cut cookies. I liked the older style, because now we have to make 24 or container the rest to save them. They're not as fresh either I don't think. They taste okay, but the packaging is not ideal for us.

I read on the package that it was safe to eat the cookie dough raw. So while baking the cookies I ate some of the cookie dough. (About two table spoonfuls) I woke up at 2:00 am with serious stomach pain and cramping. At 4:00 am the diarrhea began. And soon after the vomiting started too. I have felt sick all day, maybe the safe to eat raw should be re-examined by your experts. I hope my body can get feeling better soon, and I won't have to go to the doctor to get antibiotics. I don't want other people to get sick.

Not tasty

We usually buy the dough in the tub, but Sam's has been out so we tried and they don't taste very good.

Too small!

I bought these when I was told that the Pillsbury Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough in the tub was no longer being sold by Sams - I am not pleased with this product - the cookies are too small!

I have made recipes with Pillsbury chocolate chip

I have made recipes with Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough for over five decades for my family including chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake bars. Why would you change a legend? If people want to eat raw cookie dough then sell this new recipe to them but please bring back the original recipe for your loyal customers who have kept you in business from the very first Pillsbury Dough Boy commercial. The Pillsbury Dough Boy would fall flat on his adorable tummy on this one and lose his hat. Another American icon hits the dust. Whoever made this decision must be from a younger generation and doesn't have a clue about the longevity of decades and decades of Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie lovers history. Someone needs to tell them that if it isn't broke then don't try to fix it. Nestle here I come!

Yuck!

The new recipe for the roll of chocolate chip cookie dough is terrible! Bring back the original recipe! Who cares if people eat the dough,, that's their prerogative and consequence. I loved the old recipe, the cookies had a distinct flavor and were great both fresh out of the oven and even days later. I'm done with Pillsbury until this company listens to its consumers

The last couple of times I purchased these 24 count ones, I noticed a big difference in quality and taste and not for the better. Now, they taste more molassses-y and chemical-y and like cheaper ingredients and fillers are being used. I couldn't understand why I didn't like them anymore because they have been my go to chocolate chip cookie for years and years and always delicious! Well, then I read online that you changed the ingredients recently. No wonder I noticed such a difference! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE I am begging you to go back to the ingredients before this most recent change! I would be willing to pay more if that is what it would take. Otherwise, I won't be able to get these anymore and that will be very sad!!!

If I make mistakes it's because I'm crying . The “ new” recipe for the Halloween cookie taste like you are trying to make a terrible and I mean terrible gluten free cookie. The texture is like sand . Where is the fats that make them soft and crispy. If we promise to not eat the raw dough make it as perfectly unhealthy as it used to be. You are not our mothers.

I had not realized the recipe had changed until I took a bite of the raw dough.. Strong taste of molasses that wasn't there previously. The signature taste of the original recipe is gone.. Cooked version is also disappointing. It's an "ok" cookie, nothing special anymore. Heat treating the flour was the only change necessary, why change the whole thing.
