I love everything about the console. It's so fast compared to the previous generation, the controller brings a whole new experience to gaming, and the annoying jet engine sound from the ps4 is replaced by a light buzz for only a few games (only happens with AC Valhalla for me). I've been on the safe side regarding my use of the console, for example, ive not used rest mode out of fear of bricking it and I try not to play on it all day so it can take a break every now and then. Overall this console is amazing. I understand the launch and getting this console was terrible. The bots taking almost every console made getting one a hassle, but don't stop trying. Use the Walmart app and make a Twitter account to know all the release dates and more tips on how to beat the bots and snag a ps5. Although it may seem like a too much of a problem to even try at this point, I can promise that the end result makes up for everything.

Don't get me wrong,it's nice, but has limited internal storage. I downloaded three games and was out if memory. I went ahead and bought an external drive thinking I could move the games over like I can on my PS4, nope. You only get 660 gb usable internal storage, so once that is gone, you have to delete a game to download another. Sony is to allow you to expand this with NVMe hard drives this summer, but that's another 350 bucks to get 2 tb of storage. Plus all of the games out for PS5 suck. Should if waited or just bought a nice gaming PC.

I ordered the PS5 on 6/17 and just received it today (Saturday, 6/26). The original expected delivery date was for 7/9. I originally ordered the digital version ($399) and was upgraded to the disc version($499) at NO COST!!! I thought it was too good to be true and was nervous the whole time because the status showed as preparing order until the day it shipped out(today). I got it and Im a very happy camper lol

Yes this is hard to get right now but if you happen to get one you wont be disappointed. This thing is by far the best gaming console yet. It is big so your going to need some space for it. I would also recommend a 4K tv with HDR so you can get the best possible picture from it. 120hz if its in your budget. The playstation itself comes with a wireless rechargeable controller, USB type C cable and power cord. If you need wired ethernet then you have to buy a cord. PS5 games go on internal SSD and load fast!! PS4 games can be installed there too but since ps5 games are so big i would get an external hard drive for them or use your existing external ps4 drive if you have one. When you turn it on it will have to update like everything else these days. Gameplay is awesome on it. I only have Spiderman Miles Morales Ultimate Edition and it comes with Astrobot which is surprisingly fun. Spiderman i played for hours and the PS5 didnt skip a beat. it can get hot and the fan can get loud if you dont have it in a good ventilated spot. The controller does have a speaker and a microphone built in so watch out for hot mic moments. it does come in handy when you dont have a headset and it also adds some sound effects to the gameplay. overall im glad i was able to get a Playstation 5!!!

I recently switched from Xbox cause I've been an Xbox player for a really long time and I just gave up on Xbox I couldn't stay interested in it so I switched to PlayStation 5 and I'm in love with it and all the amazing games they have now I want to stay a PlayStation player forever Im going to say I made the right choice

It's an incomplete product. It has no media player app or any access to any other music app other than Spotify or USB. It's 2021, having options on a 500 dollar device shouldn't be such an oversight. Also, no USB functionality with PS5 saves and no way for us to extend our storage space is completely unacceptable. Sony, fix your system. At least FedEx didn't steal my system again.

Great console and even though everyone is mad because of the website it's still really good and worth everything besides a little crashing. Honestly I love it from the graphics to the controller and while I'm not gonna rub it in anyone's face I'm gonna say keep on trying and wish you beat of luck.
