The system is great it had its new bugs but with all tech now-a-days these things can be easily fixed by a software update. (Which has been in place already) the system is great runs games from ps4 (most of them) and new ps5 titles are to continue to come. Don't let these reviews fool you. A Lot of the people are just upset because of the difficulty of purchasing or getting one is really hard to come by. But I mean come on it's next gen now of course it's going to be hard and it's on the holidays! Now just be patient more will come. Overall at this moment no cons.

The controller alone was a win for me. The different features from this controller is amazing. Games i normally play load faster and I'm loving it. Others have complained about problems with their PS5 but the same doesn't apply for me. The cooling is amazing. My console does not overheat. I LOVE THE DESIGN. As times goes by, i can see this console getting better. Not enough space for me though but it is okay because I'll be expanding my storage. I CANNOT WAIT!!!

After 5 months of hard searching I was finally able to score one through Walmart and I was excited. Havent yet played it as I just got it as I was walking out the door to work thankfully cause it would of been sitting outside for 8 hours but it did get here pretty fast and showed up 2 days early

I was very lucky to both get a day one order on sep 16th preorder and release day delivery. Now that I have it I just love it. Super smooth menus and options games feel the same way. The controller last for a long time and is amazing new functions. If you can get one I very much recommend it. Playstation has done it again and i don't think there done. More to come.

Can't defeat the bots and scalpers. I blame Sony and not walmart, enriching scalpers to make a huge profit margins. Of course, I blame the same D_umb people willing to pay $1000 for this system lol .... After Christmas, everything will become normal and I hope these scalpers can't get rid of their excessive inventory.

I ordered this for my boyfriend birthday an decide to pay more since I can't find them anywhere in town. well I'm highly disappointed because it looks like it was open before I even got it I didn't just pay 850 for a used console I'm very upset cause it's ridiculous amount of money to spend but for it to look open already is unacceptable. I did receive it in two days which made me very excited to get it as promised. I don't even want to gift it to my boyfriend now in case there's something wrong with it.

The console is slick, fast and exactly what I was looking for as an upgrade to my base ps4. some of the UI choices will take time to get used to, but I am happy with my purchase. I was lucky enough to secure a console during the March 4th drop. It was projected to be delivered a month and a half later (likely just a placeholder) but it was delivered 9 days after I placed the order, which was nice. My ps5 faceplates have dark spots on the exterior middle portion of each plate, which is annoying, but it likely due to the plastic molding process and I am not overly concerned about it. I've ordered matte black dbrand plates to replace them anyway. I would rate the console 4.5/5 due to the plate issue.

It's cool but overhyped for sure. All the hype makes it seem not as cool unfortunately. The only new game I've found worth playing is Miles Morales and it's more of a standalone DLC that was marketed and sold as a separate game. Demon's Souls I already played on PS3, Sackboy is for children. The same with the new Xbox, if you can't find one right now, just wait. There is no reason to have one now except for the loading times. Most people don't even have the proper TV yet, so that's where your money will be better spent.

By far it is one of the best systems I have own, it's fast, quite and so hlfar have had no issues. The only issue I would say it's judt the massive size of the system. It's almost twice as tall as my ps4 slim was and easily over twice as thick. But I absolutely love the system.
