Almost everything about the PS5 is good with respect to its functionality. It turns on and is ready to play super quickly and it's a quieter console in comparison to the old generation playstations. It does however heat up very quickly similar to a PC. I am very fond of the fact that it's backwards compatible seeing as how not many new games are out yet for the console. The controller is slightly bigger than I would have liked but I'm slowly adjusting to it. The enhanced graphics are stunning. Overall, very satisfied with the new gaming system.

I love everything about the console. It's so fast compared to the previous generation, the controller brings a whole new experience to gaming, and the annoying jet engine sound from the ps4 is replaced by a light buzz for only a few games (only happens with AC Valhalla for me). I've been on the safe side regarding my use of the console, for example, ive not used rest mode out of fear of bricking it and I try not to play on it all day so it can take a break every now and then. Overall this console is amazing. I understand the launch and getting this console was terrible. The bots taking almost every console made getting one a hassle, but don't stop trying. Use the Walmart app and make a Twitter account to know all the release dates and more tips on how to beat the bots and snag a ps5. Although it may seem like a too much of a problem to even try at this point, I can promise that the end result makes up for everything.

It's a great console all around I stayed patient and got mine I was getting very frustrated with the Walmart app and website on drop day of the ps5 and even weeks after but I was lucky to get it on the 25th on my first try and I would recommend this to anyone who loves playing video games

My PS5 came in great condition and came way before the date on the Walmart app as well, so that's a A in my opinion. On the other hand the box that the PS5 box was in was cut opened but other than that everything was fine. Also, when I woke up with only one day of playing on the PS5 is was dirty all over the white part of it, I used some wipes because regular tissues weren't working to get the dirt or whatever it was off. So one thing I recommend is getting something to cover the PS5. For example I got this, PS5 Console Dust Cover Custom Designed for PlayStation 5. Just search that in Amazon and it will pop up. Omg if you haven't gotten one of these don't stop trying a must have Jesus it's speed is something else downloaded 5 games in mins. Walmarts shipping was super fast I was extremely impressed. If fedex moved as fast as Walmart is the only thing that could have made this even better.

Hi all. The system overall is pretty great thus far. Only played Astrobot and Demon's Souls so far - both are a treat. As with any launch console, the bugs are being worked out, which is to be expected. The UI is kind of a curveball if coming from PS4, and it took me a couple of days to figure out where everything was located, and takes some getting used to. One of the weaker parts of the overall experience for sure. If you're trying to buy here online, you'll likely have to refresh and not be deterred from the 'sold out' prompt on the screen. It was 'sold out' for 45 minutes while I casually chatted on the phone refreshing every minute or so, and voila! Added one to my cart and purchased. This was back on September 17 by the way; the second day that the console was up for preorder. Good luck, and happy preordering!

This is the best console i have ever purchased. It was a struggle to get especially here in walmarts app and website on launch day. But when i finally got my order in and saw it was shipped i was happy and sad. I was happy because i finally managed to get a hold of a ps5 purchase after websites crashing and having the console go out of stock before you even add it to the cart. But what made me a bit frustrated was the fact that sony forced everyone to use Fedex as a shipper for the console. I have a horrible background with Fedex losing, even stealing, and breaking packages. So my concern was over the top. But gladly the Fedex guy in my area was nice enough to bring me the console in one piece! And im truly greatful for that, especially after hearing stories of the console being lost or stolen. After i got my console i was amazed by how it was so easy to set up and boy the console is huge! But it fit exactly where i wanted it to be. And well the whole UI and menu's and all the new features you can see online on youtube how much they are so cool! I thought all these mew features on the controller and system are all just a gimmick but they do take a huge portion of the experience and it is phenomenal and game changer! Overall if you manage to get one in your hands while its in stock I highly recommend so. Even tho there are barely any games that are only ps5 right now its still something you would definitely enjoy! But if you're really smart buy it when all the crazy fan boys have gotten their console just so you could secure yourself one and probably get bundles and discounted games by then.

I think it is sad that the price went from 500 to over 1000. This disappoints me as to how this is something Walmart feels is ok. I understand we could have not bought it but it was a reward we promised and the requirements where fulfilled by our child and we will keep our word.

Great Experience. It was a process trying to get one, but after some time it paid off. Came in 4 days of placing my order. The box was perfect and nothing wrong. The console is insane and so hype to finally have one. Would 100% recommend buying from Walmart.

The best experience you can have. It turn all of your favorite game to life. It's worth the money to buy it from retail instead of resellers. Just don't give up. The PlayStation 5 has some games right now but if was to recommend 2 games it would be Spider-Man Miles and Returnal ( the game has not came out but the trailer looks amazing) the 2 game are PlayStation games only.
