The controller is truly next gen. Games run dmooth at 60fps with stunning visuals. Load times on games like Spider-Man are so fast there is no time to think between.

Bought this for my boyfriend back in November 2020, he loves it so far. However the controller started having some issues a couple months ago so had to order a new one. That was Sony's fault though.

this system is well worth it I did order it on March 18th and it was supposed to come April 9th but there was a delay due to the warehouse not having any but 4 days later I got an alert at midnight saying your order has been shipped so be patient if you're able to catch the drop in your order is delayed don't cancel it I'm thankful I was able to beat the robot which was not easy and be able to buy this at the normal price and not from a third party

This console take entertainment to a whole another level. The controller vibration and triggers especially with Astro playroom makes you feel every terrain in this game. The free PS hits game was really a plus, 20 I'm playing a lot a games that I hadn't the chance to play for free. The system overall really worth the hype.

The PS5? Outstanding. Everything it was hyped to be. The sales process on Wal-Mart? Complete chaos. Even after getting the PS5 into my cart (multiple times), I would get obscure error messages redirecting me back to my cart. The number of Captchas I had to complete was absurd - I must have verified the existence of crosswalks in a picture at least a dozen times, and that was when I had managed to get the item in my cart. There truly was no guarantee at any logical stage of the ordering process that I had acquired the device anywhere prior to it arriving on my front porch. Even with a confirmation number and a printout of the confirmed order, the entire process of landing this PS5 left me wondering whether (and more likely when) I would receive some random notice from Wal-Mart stating that my order would be indefinitely delayed due to a shortage of stock. And.. even when the box containing the PS5 had arrived at my home, it was obvious the box had been opened previously by somebody along the supply chain. Nobody opened the box to the PS5 itself, but still, the singular fact that I could see the Playstation logo right through the large opening in the shipping box is a reflection on just how goofy the process was end-to-end. In the end, getting this PS5 required me pre-populating my Wal-Mart account with a payment method, adding the PS5 to my wish list, and using both my phone and a laptop in attempt to complete the transaction. This is 2021. Clearly there has to be a better way to handle the sales process for popular items better than this. I dont foresee myself using this app again anytime soon.

Package arrived within 3 days , although the box could've used a little more padding it was fine. perfect condition and brand new as described. been using it for almost a week and No Issues. btw the PS5 is the mst advanced and futuristic console I've ever seen. well worth the $730

The PS5 us everything I hoped, and wanted. Wal-Marts delivery notification system coyld use some work. seeing "preparing order" for 2 weeks sucked, but they notified better then USPS once it shipped, also the box they shipped in did nothing to protect anything, but the PS5 was ok. I really appreciate the system they had set up for purchasing, giving us a chance every 5 minutes. My husband and I both got ours through Wal-Mart. Thank you!

moving to it from a PS4 Pro, impressed with the system speed, new UI, upgraded graphics on my 4k TV, and haptic feedback controller. odd decision having the disc drive set to the outside of the system (you put the discs in facing backwards from prior systems), but likely to reduce heat inside the system. It is big, but with included stand it hides behind my TV easily. Happy with the launch version, would buy again knowing what I know now.

Definitely what I expected. I ran the good race and was lucky enought to get my order processed. Pick up was pretty straight forward when using the app and parking at the the designated area. Console is great, replayed Ghost of Tsushima with the upgraded specs. Definitely a difference from PS4. Awaiting Destiny 2 update.

I ordered this PS5 on March 4 I was soo excited and it said it was coming April 13, so then I checked a couple days later to see if the delivery date changed and it did it changed to March 11, so I was more excited, then March 10 I checked again to see if the date changed and it changed to March 10 that same day so I was prepared for it to come, it came at 6:30 ET, I was unboxing it and nothing was damaged everything was good.
