Everything you expect from a Playstation and more. Controllers are better than ever with new features and smooth operation. Graphics are phenomenal. Currently playing Ghost of Tsushima and the SSD is as responsive as you could ever hope for. Have Astro A-50 headset running optical sound through an HDMI Optical Extractor and the sound is beyond compare. Yep, it is everything you would expect a next gen Playstation system to be. You can tell.they did their homework.

Made Xmas that much more special! I got this for my husband needless to say he's a super gaming fanatic and was beyond surprised that I managed to get my hands on one! It's super quiet and all the downloads are super fast! The control is my awesome allows you to be more interactive with the gaming experience

This system is more amazing than I couldve imagined. Its super fast loading games and the controller is the best I have ever used. The next gen graphics to me are impressive. Some say its not a major jump but I feel that its definitely noticeable and impressive

I purchased the PS5 about two or three weeks ago and it works great. It only took two days to get to my house from the day I ordered it. So super fast shipping. The box did come a little open tho. But the box inside was not damaged. Quick loading times for games and nice graphics. So glad I was able to get my hands on one.

So glad I managed to get one during the last restock, it did take a few rounds but I landed one! Shipping originally said it was going to be about 3 weeks out but then 2 days later it was set to be delivered that following week. I just got it in today, exactly a week later playing it and enjoying it!

As long and as much as I been trying to get this, it finally came through for me. I was able to add it to cart and check out was a breeze. This game console was a birthday gift for my husband. I couldn't believe at how big it was going to be. Shipping was faster than the estimated delivery date. The Console came with a stand that you would need to use, either for it to sit vertically or horizontally. The graphics are great! It looks great, The design in great, but in my opinion it is a bit bulky compared to the other consoles. You can transfer all your game data from your PS4. Setup was very easy. I would recommend purchasing this, if you're quick enough.

Like the rest of North America, I tried and tried to get a PS5 on launch day. Although the Walmart app did not provide a positive purchase confirmation, an email confirmation claimed my order went through. A week later, BAM, PS5 in the house! Packaging not quite as glamorous as Series X. Setup is a cinch. I am new to Playstation, and creating a new account was clumsy, as some knucklehead used my email address for their childs account (how is that even possible?!). After a support chat, I am in business. Load times for games is nearly instant. But the star of the show is DualSense. The next gen controller is unbelievably cool! The console is extra large, but whisper quiet. I can also gold star recommend Demons Souls and Black Ops Cold War. Happy gaming!

Prior to Walmart switching to online only for PS5 consoles, I drove an hour away from my local Walmart and residence to a Walmart in a smaller town. I called that Walmart on Dec 19th., and an Electronics associate gave me a tip that more than 12 PS5 consoles were arriving later that day and will be available for sale. I arrived 2 hours before the truck arrived with the PS5 consoles and there was already a line of 14 people waiting in the electronic's department. After a total of 5 hours of waiting, the mgr announced there were 12 consoles unloading! I was so close and it was my last chance to get one before Christmas for my kids! I left that store very disappointed but one of the customers standing in line mentioned a third party AP that sends alerts for the top 7 retailers that were restocking PS5 consoles with daily and up to minute updates and notifications. I downloaded the app., HotStock! It was free to sign up and it sends a free alert every time a retailer posts the PS5 consoles! Three days passed, after the major letdown, and it was about 2:30pm in the afternoon and I received an alert from HotStock that Walmart online had PS5 availability online. I rushed to the site and with 3 clicks and I was able to place a PS5 in my online cart, enter my credit card info, and complete the purchase! The ETA had it scheduled to arrive to my residence by January 9th., but I was excited that we were getting one, even after Christmas. Each day, I checked for updates online and just before Christmas, the date changed to December 28th. The PS5 shipped earlier than expected and was transported to my doorstep on the morning of December 27th. We are very lucky that we got one but more importantly, we never gave up and I refused to negotiate with scalpers. I'd rather not have a PS5 than to pay a scumbag over list price! My kids love it! I can say it is worth the hype! The gaming catalog is a bit limited but it's the Heisman Trophy of gaming consoles! It stands vertical, next to our 65”TV and sound bar. I had Geek Squad connect it via an Ethernet cable to my protected network. I upgraded my modem, enhanced my security online, and added video surveillance to my property. The surveillance video was for many reasons; not just bc I owned a PS5, lol. If you haven't purchased a PS5 yet and still are pursuing one, don't give up! Use third party sites for alert notifications, when retailers restock! They will restock! And, DO NOT pay a penny to those scalpers! Be persistent and I'm sure you'll land one, as I did! I'm grateful to Walmart for shipping my console so quickly! Good Luck!

My PS5 arrived 3 days earlier than it was scheduled to be delivered. Walmart upgraded my digital version to the disk version at no extra cost. In a time when the ps5 is hard to find this was much appreciated. What can I say about the ps5, it's amazing! Fast downloads and when you play games from the internal ssd load times are almost non existent. I also have a 5tb external drive that I put my ps4 games on and play them from the external drive with no issues. Looks great on my Samsung q70!

Graphics are great, the disc version also functions as a 4K player. The new controller feels better overall, it has a built in mic and also has adaptive triggers. For shooter games, the adaptive triggers are trying to replicate the feel of pulling a trigger on a weapon. This option can be turned off, if you prefer the feel of a push button. Load times have also decreased significantly. It's no secret that the PS5 is an amazing console. You will not be disappointed.
