My fiancee and I both filed our taxes with TurboTax this year. We were both able to fly through them. It is definitely quick and easy. My only gripe is that I had a little difficulty in finding an error pointed out during the Review stage. Perhaps an option to hit a but on the "Error Found" page back to where the error is could help others.

Have used Turbo Tax since the beginning and it is very easy to use. The step by step continues to be very useful and easy to follow. I felt the state (IL) property tax credit result should have been explained. The new 2018 tax law was not covered during the estimated tax portion. I had to do an offline analysis using excell and force it to fit the result.

I've successfully used TurboTax (TT) for possibly two or three decades. The bottom lines seems to be that TT has evolved toward greater user friendliness and 'intuitiveness'. My own evolution seems to have been to expect ever more of those qualities, without changing my behavior to grow with the software. I make things more difficult than they are. Next year, however, I shall have prepared my financial data so thoroughly and so coherently that the software and I will achieve man-machine resonance. Indeed, I'll submit my return during the first two weeks of February, instead of on 17-April-2019.

(1) I downloaded TXF forms from my financial advisor, some for me, some for my wife. On many screens it was not clear which document I was viewing. Your program should have a title showing what document I'm looking at. This should the document name. (2) It is very tedious clicking the "back" button (which I did often). Your should let me attach a user "bookmark" to any screen and give me a "go to bookmark" button. There should be a "return from bookmark" button. There should be a stack of bookmarks because one bookmark may lead to another bookmark and so fourth. I am pleased with Turbo Tax. I've used it since some time in the 1990s.

Entry of federal information seemed more cumbersome than previous years, and transfer of info to state wasn't as complete as previous years (in my estimation). Also, despite the same form for 2016 (specifically IRS Form 8853), including that in 2017 denied my ability from Turbo Tax to file electronically. The form is identical (except the numbers (I checked). Was very disappointed that I had to print and mail all the forms for Fed. and State.

I am still impressed with TurboTax!! The navigation is not easy, (see above). One should be able to go to something like the 'find your 2016 AGI' and press a key to get where you were instead of signing in or filling out a form. The checks on data are great (they corrected me a number of times. The phone advisers are superb...Belinda deserves a raise! Overall, I'll do it again next year and will start with Premier instead of Deluxe. Thank you and good luck!

The Illinois state return step-by-step neglected to include the Illinois schedule M information regarding additions and subtractions to income. On the US step-by-step, it's annoying to have to go through a series of steps that are already completed from a previous session. Maybe this can be improved.

After recommending Turbo Tax to my family and friends for years I feel i'm being taken advantage of as an annual renewal customer. I paid almost twice what other customers paid for Premier and I'm upset that Turbo Tax would do that to loyal customers. Exploring alternatives.

The best thing about TurboTax is doing the math. Never been very good about it but TT is always right. I also like that I don't have to update the math as in previous years. Last year I sold some stock and had never had to put that in my taxes but Turbo Tax made it a breeze. Also, the note space for a missed RMD caused by the payor. A great product!

This is my 4th year with Turbo Tax. I am just now beginning to feel comfortable with using it. For me, it would be helpful if there were more directions on each section. You should have a new user try to do it in your office. You will quickly find out where the confusion lies.
