If you don't have an extremely complicated returns, I swear by Turbo Tax. Even when I had stock sales and dealing with extensive deductions, Turbo walked me through it. If you haven't tried it before, I would for 2018. well worth it from my perspectve.

Have been using Turbo Tax for 10 years. Love it. Makes filing easy and simple. Step by step instructions. They constantly update Turbo Tax. I use Premier because of investments. All the info from our accounts is automatically transferred to Turbo Tax if I choose to do so. Great software for a reasonable price. Highly recommend Turbo Tax. No more dreaded tax days.

Great program but... having purchased a rental house in another state, the program isn't providing correct info to my state of residence to allow me to efile. And I can't correct the error -- turbo tax keeps putting the incorrect information back in. On the upside, they refunded my efile fee without issue. Still, this is my 5th year of using turbo tax, and my first issue. A bit disappointing.

There should not be an extra charge to efile the State returns. I have tried to send it in electronically 5 times now and the State keeps rejecting it. Do I get my money back, since I will have to manually fill in forms and mail it? How do I get a refund?I

Had a particularly complicated filing this year with stock sales including both short term and capital gains as well as a pension rollover and was able to manuver through all areas with easily understandable and logical guidance provided by turbotax without spending much more time that I usually do preparing the taxes for simpler years.

Still this appears to be best product available and does make filing a whole lot easier than back in the old days. Love how it all comes together in the end. Makes you feel safe with all the calculations taken out of the process. I felt pretty good going through the steps.

I always use turbotax, so it feels pretty familiar. I like that I can take my sweet time and answer the questions that remind me about something I need to record. The extended help is excellent too. At the end of the process, its a little confusing about what to do to get a print-out, but maybe it's just me.

Because my 1099 had details from multiple states, the place to report MA state interest/dividends was skipped over. It would have been very helpful to get a question at that point telling me to look for state tax exempt items and to collect the data then.

As expected the software is mostly flawless and easy to use. The lone exception is the glitch where the form 2210 comes up when you run the review. The way the questions are ask could lead to a lot of research to generate the correct answers. It was disappointing that I had to search an outside forum to find out that the answer is to simply go to forms and delete the 2210.

Maddening. Kept me going in circles. Will cite only one specific because it is easy to explain (others would require pages): Page 2, 2016 PIT-X, at the signature blocks, requires driver's license #'s, but TurboTax prints in "NONE", and doesn't allow correction. However, it does allow "NM" and expiration dates.
