TurboTax is thorough, methodical, accurate, and super-easy to use. It is replete with help topics, terminology, and resources as well as the latest IRS updates. And it gets better every year! 15+ years of reliable returns and I won't use anything else.

What is up with that 8814(?) form. Even though my kids are adults and file their own taxes for years it would not allow me to proceed without entering some interest on this Kids interest form. Should not have even come up because i did not claim them.

Being a little dense, I found myself fumbling around to get my state income tax forms printed after E-filing my 1040s. I'm wondering if TurboTax and make it obvious for confused individuals like me to directly have my state forms printed after E-filing my 1040s.

We have used TurboTax for many years and sincerely appreciate all the time-saving features ... automatic transfer of information from prior year tax forms very quick and easy ...calculations are automatic ... transfers to appropriate forms and state forms are seamless. Comparisons to prior year TurboTax entries are very helpful

I do mine, my brothers and my kids and of course that means 6 federal. I have 1 to many. Not worth buying a pro series (does 20) or another 5 premier. There should be ways to pay for 1 extra. I didn't liked the electronicwhen it first came out but intuit has pretty much perfected it

Have been a TurboTax user for many years. It is easy to use, with plenty of explanations and support if you ever get stuck. In my case, the explanations included in the software have been more than enough. More importantly, the more you use it, the more you learn to make intelligent tax-related decisions for the following years.

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 25 years and I've never had any difficulties. I thought I would switch to another tax program one year, but went out and picked up Turbo Tax because the other program was not easy to use. I hope I am able to use it for another 25 years.

This year I needed to mirror my 2016 taxes to figure out why the program wasn't working. This did correct the issue but surely wasn't the "easy" way to do this. Secondly, on filing state tax (Virginia) I got a technical difficulties notice which after reading all the pages regarding this (un-install, remove cookies) realized I should try the equivalent of checking the plug---I turned my Mac off and back on. The technicality was fixed after a restart that appeared to also have an update with it (not one put in a notice by Apple). This might not have been TT issue but at the same time it doesn't seem TT reached out to Apple Mac to find a solution either. Will I still use TT...yes, but if next year is as bad as this I will look for a new tax prep program for 2019.

I have used Turbo tax for many years. Every year, it seems more difficult to use. I used to be able to go to one screen and enter Schedule D data. I now have to go to 3 or 4 screens to enter one transaction. I used to be able to transfer Its deductible info very quickly. This year, Intuit wanted access to my keychain for passwords. Really?? In the end, I couldn't transfer the data and had to find a work around. I think it is time to look at other products that don't keep making it more difficult and asking for access to all my passwords.

I've been using Turbo Tax for years and think it's fairly good. However, as my financial interests become more complex TT just doesn't keep up. It just cannot handle the complexity of the K-1s I receive. Even though I get their audit defense I am sure that TT doesn't get the K-1 inputs correct and I just can't stand that.
