Used for 15 years and it has improved a lot in the User-Friendly area. However, each time I download my Investments from my broker, it seems they make later changes that must be updated to accurately report. That causes an issue because I cannot find a way to delete the first Investments download and reload with the updated info? Additionally, it would be helpful if you could hit a button and see on the State tax calculation what the best method is to follow to get the highest return--Married Filing Jointly or Married Filing seprartely? If there's a way, please share it and help educate me. That would be a great addition. Otherwise, it's a very good product, so 4 stars!

1. We married this year and although we both used TurboTax previously, there is no way to transfer both histories. You have to pick one and read the other 2. We were not told that the 3 fields that were revealed as errors in the review would prevent e-filing. After paying for the state filing and being denied, we had to eliminate a deduction totally to successfully submit. 3. We forgot to enter state taxes paid and TurboTax does not ask if that is a mistake.

This years 2017 Premiere did not address all items as in the past. I chose for Turbo Tax to step me through each item, BUT it completely left out (skipped over) several large important items in the Investment income & capital gains and losses sections. If I hadn't noticed this I would have inadvertently, left off critical investment info required by the IRS. I was able to fix it by noticing that Turbo Tax forgot it! Not acceptable, and I am very disappointed in this years Turbo Tax. Will probably not use it next year.

I don't know why I keep buying TT. This will really be the last year. It does the Federal return just fine. But when I go to do the state (MO) it chokes and kicks me into manual mode. I have to figure out which forms to bring up and fill in the boxes myself. To do this I have to use the previous year's return as a guide and it takes a lot of time and effort. Next year I will try one of the competitors products and hope it does better.

This has been the 10th year that I have used Turbo Tax. It has simplified my tax preparation not by hours, but by days! The best thing I like about Turbo Tax is the "simple" questions it asks me regarding the tax information are very easy to understand. I also like the way that the program keeps tabs on the transmission and acceptance of my electronic tax returns.

I found myself reading federal tax publications and instructions because the TurboTax software did not provide enough guidance in several areas. I also had to call TT for one-on-one support for several items. I pay for the TT software to get guidance within the software. It seems like every year, TT moves toward a software that just asks me what dollar amount should be used an then fills in my tax forms with that value.....I could print my own tax forms and do that myself.

Think TurboTax has been my tax preparer for nearly 20-years. This was the first time that the brokerage accounts were incomplete, which meant that I had to start over with the return. The other thing. Please make the program so that it can be enlarged so we elderly folks with glaucoma can read it. Like the form I'm now typing on. Much appreciation.

areas like form 4562 and other forms using carryover data from previous years need better explanation as to amounts and what they mean and better process that gives users ability to change that data. Also errors in UN and PW when linking to Intuit to buy things like additional states and auditdefense are TERRIBLE !! . it takes you to the INTUIT homepage when all you are trying to do is reset your password. Very confusing and useless.

Because I already had confidence in Turbotax, I had no qualms when I encountered tax situations that were new to me this year - specifically the household employment taxes incurred on my mom's behalf. It turned out to be much simpler than I anticipated and I knew Turbotax had my back.

I've used Turbo Tax for 20+ years, and have never had an issue. It's always been able to walk me thru whatever issues I've had for that year, whether it was buying or selling a home, dealing with multiple jobs and incomes, or buying and selling securities.
