I have been using Turbo Tax for over 15 years. It has always been easy and accurate. I especially like the feature that allows download of financial information from banks, credit unions, and investment firms. I have never worried that my taxes were not accurate as long as I entered accurate information. E-Filing is also a huge plus. It couldn't be easier to file the tax return when it's complete.

I love turbo tax. Very easy to use and walks you through everything step by step. My only issue was I could not file my KS and MO returns electronically due to a glitch where the address could not be on the state info worksheets yet it needed to be on the state info worksheets. Very frustrating especially after I paid to efile both states.

Turbotax step by step instructions are very helpful in making sure that you don't forget to include all necessary forms. Being able to download forms is also very helpful. One major irritant was that in attempting to fill out a Schedule C, the program kept saying there was a calculation error (I eventually learned that it was because of a glitch in the program). Despite all the promises about having access to help as Turbotax advantage member (which of course comes with paying a premium for the program) it was impossible to find a telephone number to contact anyone.

An optional set of screening questions targeted on the pareto of issues from your support activities and items often missed. Some error trapping for likely issues. IE; double entries. dollar figures that are exactly alike for dividend entries for instance. These could all be in optional levels of assistance. Couple of early mailings to a customer from last year with friendly reminders of what they should keep organized and have copies of. Good marketing tool also. Perhaps by category of user, IE; non investor, investor, whatever.

I would have really appreciated a box at the top of the screen, adjacent to the Federal Tax Due, that displayed my income amount (and subsequent tax bracket). The program interface (desktop edition) is quite streamlined, but I would have appreciated a few more details about my returns that are easily viewed. Right now all of that information is buried.

Each time I use TurboTax, it seems easier to file my taxes. I appreciate the Easy View and the way the program explains details to you if you have a question. There was only one instance when an issue in Forms view was not detected in EasyView. I had to do some Google searching to figure out the answer to my question. The good news: I found the answer with a link on TurboTax.com

Had to delay submitting return by 4 weeks this year awaiting a fix to allow It's Deductible to communicate with TurboTax. C'mon Intuit.....you are one company - your programs should talk to each other! Also, the default logic for handling 529 distributions is not smooth and requires accessing forms to complete properly.

This is the 10th year using Turbo Tax. Each each year, I experienced a easier and shorter time completing my federal and state tax returns. Turbo Tax provides a simplified approach to getting through the maze of tax laws while securing the largest tax return allowable.

HARD TO SAY ANYTHING NEGATIVE. MY RETURNS GOT MUCH MORE COMPLICATED THIS YEAR DUE TO DEPENDENT CHANGES RELATED TO THEIR INCOME AND EDUCATIONAL STATUS. TURBO TAX DETAILED PROCESS COVERED EVERYTHING I HAD TO ENTER AND I FEEL CONFIDENT ITS RIGHT. SATISFIED CUSTOMER FOR OVER 20 YEARS.

1. I would like to see, on my summary page, my marginal tax rates. The Federal tax return shows my effective tax rate, which I can easily compute but I have to dig to find the marginal tax rate. 2. When I enter information for mutual fund holdings, TurboTax asks me how much of the income comes from Federal sources. My mutual fund always reports it as a percentage so I have to whip out my calculator. If TT asked for the percentage instead, it would save me some work and decrease the likelihood of error.
