While it only took me about 1.5 hours to complete, I did find it a frustration that there were no easy step questions for schedule C expenses, especially cost of goods sold, which would remove the need to go back after completion of the schedule C to re-apply for the child tax credit and earned income credits.

When using the guide to enter income and deductions and you complete one of the line items it takes you back to the top of the list instead of taking you to the next line item in that category to enter. Then you have to scroll down to the next line item to continue. Waste of time especially in the deductions section! It has been that way for years and should be changed to improve the flow of entry. I do not give up my right to free speech and do not intend for this criticism to hurt anyone.

In my 2016 return I and others noted TurboTax was not accurate in two areas of ObamaCare. I expected the 2017 version to have corrected both problems, but they still exist. 1. To qualify for ObamaCare subsidies in states that opted into the Medicaid expansion your MAGI has to be 138% of the poverty level. However TurboTax will still give you the subsidy even if you don't qualify on Form 8962. I would expect some kind of caution/warning even if they allow the subsidy. 2. On Form1095-A TurboTax will still add up the rounded monthly entries in Part III so that your annual totals do NOT match what the state sent to the IRS. Last year, due to this mismatch, the IRS required me to file a corrected return. While TurboTax looks better than other tax products I value accuracy/completeness over looks. So, I'll be looking into other tax products next year.

I had a few weird distributions from inherited IRA's and 401k's coupled with purchasing a new home and selling stock which made me a bit nervous tackling my taxes this year; but TurboTax walked me right through everything easy-peasy as usual and I got it all done in short order.

Been using this for years. I see an improvement every year. I sometimes think I should have a tax accountant do it because I'm not sure if I am covering everything. Maybe next year with the new Tax reform I will go that way. Need to read more on what the this new policy will do to me.

The software is very intuitive and makes taxes a breeze! Mine are a bit complicated with having K2's ,losses,other income,etc. The program prompted me to think about deductions I would not have otherwise taken. I'd recommend to most everyone----no need to sit with a preparer again!!

I've been using Turbo Tax for years. I believe i does a good job. This year a box came up asking for an explanation of an entry. There was no context on what this was pertaining to and no help on what information was being asked for. I had to to to the IRS site which was not very helpful at all. There is far less support for the State programs than the Fed

The program worked great just irritated that after buying the Premier I had to pay an additional $80! I live on a state line so work in KS but live in MO, therefore I have to file for 2 states. Even though the premier says it covers state returns it will only cover one state. I had to purchase the extra state in the middle of the program. Not sure why this can't be included instead of nickel and dimming. Its also irritating to get to the end and then charge you to efile for the states. Are they not making enough just on the program?

Obviously the tax laws have become more complicated but TurboTax seems to have made the best of it. I am disappointed that they abandoned their previous simple print/review routines for one that is at best terrible and hard to use. BAD MOVE in an otherwise easy to use program.

Have used TurboTax for many years. My only complaint is that for the 2nd year in a row it doesn't print out my Federal Estimated Tax vouchers, only the state vouchers. I have to go hunt to find the Fed stuff. It used to print the Federal vouchers out along with my whole return. Please fix.
