Hard to get past errors because they don't allow a user to fix all entries that need fixing at once to proceed. For example California Form 593--address or parcel number. It gave me the option to delete parcel number, but not the other associated field--County, so it was in a loop until I went back in to the return and fixed the form. Opportunity for improvement. Also, there is no option to change the font, some fields are too small and it would be nice to increase the font size/magnify.

I have used turbotax since 1995, and have never been audited. I once visited an accountant so I could find out some answers to my questions, but I never had them do my taxes. Taxes aren't simple, but TurboTax fills in the forms you couldn't do with a pencil.

Every year I tell my wife I shouldn't use TurboTax next year, then I do it. I keep forgetting how much I don't like it. They charge extra for state returns, then again if you want to efile a state return, then they tack on a bunch of representation fees if you didn't file right, which you should do since you didn't really file it yourself, they just generate a bazillion forms and send it to the government. Bah. Taxes...

Been using TurboTax for years and find it simple and fast. Easy to follow as the program walks you through whatever you need. Only issue was in the Premier Edition it never gave me a chance to enter my wife's estimated tax payments. Used search but none of the explanations matched my edition. Based on my experience I found it myself by going directly to Forms.

As long as Turbo Tax continues to help me do my taxes myself I'll continue to use it. I am not interested in switching unless forced to because something goes wrong with my tax filings. You should give an incentive to faithful customers such as my self. Its like I don't exist.

Turbo Tax Premier, makes it easy for me. I am doing 3 returns for myself, mother & brother. I have to deal with retirement accounts, social security, Medicare, mutual funds, stocks, Bank interest, Medical expenses, multiple properties & more. It asks the right questions & provides help when I don't understand the jargon. Another year that Turbo Tax has helped me get it done.

Have used Turbo Tax for many years - perhaps from Intuit's year 1. See no reason to pay a tax preparer when we keep good records, take a conservative approach to taxes - get all we're due but not stretching the limits. Works well for us. Using TT Advantage.

TurboTax is okay, but its series of questions on health coverage (or not) are completely U.S.-based. I live in an asian country where everyone has full healthcare--better coverage than I would get in the U.S., IMNSHO. It's universal, and I willingly pay good money for it. TurboTax canNOT handle this (Premier version). To "fix" this, go to the IRS website and fill in a correct version of your 1040, so that you are not improperly assessed for healthcare by TurboTax.

Looks like they fixed one of the final steps during review that used to be difficult - updating forms and lines THEN returning to final check in the spot you left off. This software has proved useful as a military member who has moved multiple times and has (unintentionally) ended up renting a couple of homes. Very useful with tracking my IRA contributions and making expert recommendations.

This is my 5th year using Turbo Tax and ever since the first year, it has been a comfortable process. Very simply it is worry free. You enter the correct numbers and everything else is thought of for you. I always have to itemize and couldn't be more pleased at the detail TT provides to make sure I get the best refund I can possibly receive.
