I have worked two weeks (on and off) to figure out how to file my K1 forms. The instructions I got from TT did not work as demonstrated. I bought my first TT this year through USAA. When I got into trouble I was told by TT that the Premier TT through USAA didn't allow K1 reports!!!! Infuriating. I returned it (and expect a refund) and bought the cd through a local store. The K1 still doesn't perform as advertised. Next year??? Maybe or maybe not. PS I have been a TT user for 5 years.

I have been using TurboTax since the first year it was available. I did try another product one year and was not happy with it. TurboTax is always accurate, easy to use and I can always go back several years to review past taxes by keeping the yearly programs on my computer. The only problem I have is the surprise every year that I have to pay for State e-filing. Certainly not necessary and I wish TurboTax would get rid of that surprise.

Been using TT for many years, and it is always easy to use. Appreciate the added level of security with Driver's Licenses, BUT your field do not allow for input of the date of 2/29, which happens to be my husband's birthday, and the expiration date on his license. Please remember there is a valid date of 2/29.

State Submission for mailing process is not straight-forward. I had to search for the State Submission via mail functionality. The State Submission by mail functionality should have been selectable on the same page/level that the eFile State Submission functionality was.

Easy enough to use, some ambiguity between screens. Pop up help is good but should appear in a side bar listed of a layover window. Small hick-up when starting new return, there didn't seem to be any direction on wether to import a previous return or start new data input. The only thing that gets me every year, and I only come back because I feel I'm locked into their program, is that you pay a pretty fair amount to get the program and then they charge you again at the end to e-file your state taxes. Why not incorporate that into the initial cost? By the time you are ready to pay this you have missed adding the e-file cost deduction in the body of the work. Thank you for the opportunity to evaluate this software.

I have found Turbo Tax the easiest program to follow if you want to do your own taxes at home. As anything if you don't answer the questions appropriately you could cause your own errors. I look forward to using Turbo Tax every year. It works for me.

This years interface is a bit better then last years almost back to where they were 2 years ago. Interview to take the foreign tax credit then forced it to a deduction. 23 Errors added hours to my prep time most should have been prompted for others have no idea why there was an error on declaring children's income when I have no dependents. System did not complete From 1116. Did not explain Added Medicare tax and investment tax.

Used this software for over 10 years and love how it functions. Gets easier each year and I am very confident in its accuracy. But I have a problem with improper billing of Audit Protection and it is impossible to talk to someone to fix it. Keep getting sent to post on community board. Not appropriate for a personal billing issue.

Step by step process did not flow as well as it did in previous years. At some points it seem like you were going around in circles. When selling a home and entering amounts, Net Proceeds should have read Gross Proceeds. There were more issues but after doing taxes I don't feel like going back and figuring out where the other issues were.

Entered my tax info easily. Need more integration with banks and brokers and employers; definitely more efficient than last year. Encouraged me to contribute to 2017 IRA; did so; then entered the info -- and THEN learned from turbo-tax that my "MAGI" was too high to contribute -- had to call to reverse the transfers I had just made (luckily Schwab was able to handle that) -- but the "encouraging" part of Turbo Tax should be aware of the numbers I had input and the limits -- rather than that info being coordinated in the NEXT WINDOW!!!!
