I've been using Turbo Tax for 15 years and have loved every minute of the time saved doing something else. Comparing last year this year helps to identify possible mistakes. Would love a version of Turbo Tax that took care of Estates and charitable Trust along with the 1040.

It took me a while to complete the forms, but I feel confident the program had me look for all income and expenses. Information I may have missed was surfaced as the data entry took place. My only problem was with the Fed W2 EIN number carried over from the previous year. The final resolution was when it was manually re-entered. It would be nice if a question could be asked via chat or telephone without charge. It is cumbersome to rely on the TurboTax Support process. Multiple Q&A to look through is time consuming. It is frustrating to purchase TurboTax and then see it in stores as a cheaper price later on. I Bee Done

Honestly folks, if your returns are even moderately complicated (Itemized deductions, capital gains, ira's) this is the only alternative to hiring an accountant. I wish there could be more help with nuanced issues. Not everything is black and white, sometimes information doesn't quite fit turbo taxes template. For some issues like this, perhaps some videos showing different accountants with different points of view. Also TurboTax failed to help me understand the significance of form 8606. I didn't realize it was creating this year, and filing it out incorrectly.

All in all, this is a good way to input all of my tax info. I particularly like the fact that I don't have to input a lot of the info that is instead brought over from my previous year's taxes as well as the info that I import from my brokerages for 1099-int, etc.

Been using TT for years and have been pretty satisfied with the software, but this year the disc did not allow for the 1 free state e-file option. Instead it automatically defaulted to a pay option so I had to print out and hard copy my state return.

Doing my taxes went pretty well. Turbotax is much easiser to use than H&R Block tax software in my opinion. The one thing I didn't like was that there is a 24.99 fee to efile the state tax. It was a little misleading in that it said on the box that state taxes were included. When actually, although you can do your state taxes, there is an extra fee to efile

I've been using TurboTax for many years & never have had a problem. Easy-Step guided me through the forms without a hitch. The explanations of terms is getting better every year. I like being able to compare previous year with current year. Couple of suggestions: 1. font size & color are difficult to read (it won't be long before I'll have to stop using Turbo Tax if I can't see it. 2. rather than using a screen shot, it would be nice to have the ability to print 'review' screens to keep for reference.

I have used TurboTax for 10years. I have always been amazed at the ease of use versus trying to figure out the overly complicated gov forms.. I was confused by the health spending acct. section this year as I didn't use it or contribute to it.. that info was imported from w2.

We have used TurboTax for several years. It is easy to use; guides you from start to finish; offers helpful hints; and although I didn't have any questions this year, reps are available 24/7 to respond to any queries. I highly recommend TurboTax. For the price you can't beat it!

TurboTax needs to improve its capability to deal with Schedule K-1. I spent lots of time to pass the check of federal tax part because of the problem of Box 16 conflict codes. Fortunately I got the problem fixed with the information online. TurboTax should guide the user to solve the problem, not just pop up error message and block the user to go to next step.
