Suggest you change the state return policy to include free electronic submission and/or a payment for electronic submission that covers multiple returns. I have children that work so they file tax returns. Their returns are very simple. I am able to file federal returns electronically for free for all of us. For State, you want to charge a fee for each state return submitted. I paid for the electronic filing of my state return and submitted my return electronically. I print and mail my children's returns because of the submission fee, so you get no revenue and you cause me more work and time.

The find / search feature never worked, drop down list appeared but did not link, this has always worked in previous years and was so much easier than using the "help" Did not get any useful answers or advice to remedy this. Have concerns - is everything else working ? The Payers ID has worked using 99-999999 for the past three years but not this year

I have to gather and enter many items and program lets you enter some or all the information when you want to or when it becomes available. It is easy to save the information you have entered as you go along. Great product and when you do not understand something there is great help and quick links for even for information.

I have used TT for the last 10 years. This will be my last year. The random and constant upgrade costs as compared to previous years makes the product very expensive, difficult to use, and frustrating when being constantly asked to pay excessive charges that were unforeseen (not explained up front) . DUMB!!!

I have extremely complex tax returns and have filed using TurboTax for at least 20 years. For the first time I needed help on how to report Real Estate sales of Rental Properties. The agent answered the phone and answered the question promptly. Turns out there was a glitch in the software instructions, but she nailed it in record time.

I have been using Turbotax for about 15 years. Importing my data and reminding me of prior years sources of income, donations, and investments makes it easy for me to manage. I have only had 1 minor tax return correction over the years and have felt very confident that Turbotax is helping file accurately each year.

Step by step instructions are pretty good and walk most people through a tax return. The section on rentals can be confusing. Instructions for mailing a state return don't appear if you choose to efile federal return and mail state return. Sorry, I don't want to pay an extra fee for a state return. Nor do I want all the additional audit protection, product upgrades, etc.

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years now. They have tailored this each year, making it easier and easier. For a couple years, in the beginning, I used to get my taxes done professionally, then input the info using the program. Each time, I found that it was usually a bit better through Turbo Tax due to questions asked that allowed me more reductions. The "Pros" seemed to go through the same Q&A too, just not as complete. Turbo Tax has definitely continued to refine their product to the best there is. The tool to check your return and rate it for possibility of audit is also a charm! I'd highly recommend Turbo Tax, and Twice on Sunday!!!

The IRS sent me a letter dated March 15, 2018. It stated that they were delaying my $2905 refund and conducting a review of my return information. The letter says that one or more of the following is a reason for the review: Income you reported on your return; Income tax withholding mounts you reported on your return; Claims for tax credits you made on your return; Business income you reported on your return. As I had no business income, am very certain of the income reported, and had no claims for credits, I surmise that the withholding amounts for one or more quarters must be in dispute. Yet turbotax 2018 premier version did not indicate any error. I remember filling in information for form 2210 during the final check of my return, an assumed that the information was correct when the turbotax program accepted it. But I must have been wrong. Is there any way that Intuit can help in this matter? Thank You!

Before giving the option to transmit the return, the program should prompt to ask if you have an identity protection PIN, please go back to Federal taxes, other and enter. Yes I realize it is there, but it is easily overlooked. This is an easy fix and would save countless rejected returns.
