To back out of K-1 income, could not simply delete the categories but had to enter none in the issuer box before a delete option would occur. Loss in non-resident state had to be manually reduced to zero in residence state. Many too many forms printed--I don't want to waste paper on all of the worksheets...and why do capital gains and losses print each on a separate form? I don't like TurboTax...but I keep using it.

1. Personal property tax paid on autos is confusing. I live in CT, and I cannot deduct my registration, but I can still deduct the tax I paid. Your interface does not make that clear. 2. For my CT State tax, I had more CHET contributions than I could deduct. Your program told me to reduce the amount to the max allowed. But if I entered a number less than the max allowed (which I tried), it didn't seem to ask me if I had prior year excess contributions that I wanted to carry forward. These are allowed for 5 years. So reminding users they can do this would be helpful.

Having just moved I was uncertain what to expect as far as deductions. Turbo tax walked me through the process with complete explanation leaving me confident that the process was done correctly. The program double checked by asking me twice all questions as they related to my new mortgage and expenditures for the new home.

I have been using TurboTax for at least 5 years. It takes care of my rental property and all my various deductions with ease. The charity feature that allows you to import is also a real timesaver. Once you start using this you will never look back or consider another tax prep option.

Turbo Tax is thorough with its questions and has a lot of sections that take you through things that would otherwise be difficult. It is a little bit expensive, because you think you've purchased everything you need to file, but they always come up with some other expense in the end. Also could use more instructions in certain areas to prevent redundancies. Overall a very helpful tax preparation system.

Turbo Tax appears to be capable of handling a virtually limitless number of input forms. It handles in-state and out of state tax-exempt income. It handles the complexities of Limited Partnership K-1s. However in almost 20 years of use I have had to override the same number on my state return every time. So it pays to proof key totals.

I found little to complain about except when we wee just about done and after we had done all the checks and the return was almost gone it came back and asked about a cusip number - pain in the behind and then we found out it was something that was brought in automatically so it took forever to find it but I think we got it taken care of.

Great product, but the descriptions which list what is included with each level of product purchase is both unnecessarily complex and lacking in clarity. This is nothing that could not be solved by simply stating what common schedules are included with each package.

I have been using TurboTax to file my return and those of my two sons for 25 years. It was weak on military pay in PA, but my son no longer lives in PA so I don't care anymore. My wife retired in 2016, so we no longer needed Schedule UE this year, but I had to manually remove it. I depended on TurboTax to help me find deductions that were related to retirement and I got a refund.

Having to deal with all the details of filing taxes is made easier by the competence of Turbo Tax analysts and programmers. I feel certain that it is completely accurate, which gives me peace of mind. It took a few hours, but I was able to work on it, take a break, and come back to exactly where I left off.
