Several pages left me wondering how to fill in the blanks. Used "Help" and it listed a bunch of questions that people asked in the past - none applied to my problem. Yeah, I could have eventually sent in a question to Intuit, but how long to get an answer??? It would be nice if there were a link to Help to explain the page you are on. Over all it's a great program and I'll continue to use it!

TurboTax was not as convenient to use this year as in previous years. My fault, but I had to reenter data a couple of time because I shutdown without saving. A warning to save when closing down the app would have avoided this. Additionally, I found it irritating that I had to start at the beginning each time I restarted the program. It would have been nice for the app to take me back to where I previously stopped. Overall, it's still a good application.

I have been using turbo tax for years. It was good until this year. 1) I encountered difficulty when working on education expense and 1099-Q. I called and was not be able to talk to a human. Robot promised someone will call me back, but never did. 2)Turbo Tax mistakenly added $7000 as estimated tax paid for file extension which had no record of it. This year experience is rather disappointing. suggestion for user: make sure check all the numbers before filing.

In total turbotax makes life much easier when you have investment and rental house. The interface seems to be improved than last year. I wish the rental house part can be more easy to understand. Maybe a short introduction or description can be available when you start that section.

each entry is adequately explained and use instructions are complete, but not overwhelming. It gives a feeling of confidence that everything has been done properly. For some reason, the returns I e-filed last year were not available on the TurboTax web site. The HUGE Service fee for using a Credit Card will deter me from e-filing next year.

I must have had a bad CD with a bad software batch. Because every time I needed to upload my files from it'sDeductible it would not work. And when transmitting my files to complete and file efile, it would not transmit, unless I would save and start the program again and upload the updates every single time. That is borderline ridiculous. You are not supposed to install updates constantly for every report you file.

I deleted all information from old form and still could not get rid of it. It keep coming up on review return before e-mailing return. How do you put all the stocks (Dividends) I own in alphabetical order? I could not delete my old SUV i bought in 2003 and it has been depreciated.

Something is amiss! After electronic filing my return, Turbo comes back and says I need to print certain forms and MAIL them? So I print out form 8453 and it says I need to mail form 8949 to the IRS - IF yes IF I ELECTED NOT TO REPORT MY TRANSACTION ELECTRONICALLY ON FORM 8949. Well I never made an election NOT to report the form electronically BUT I am unsure because Turbotax had me print out form 8453 AND there is no way to print or view only the forms that were electronically transmitted. I can print my return but there is no option for only the forms that were electronically filed? Confused and wasting a lot of time - NOT good!

Every year we need to include retired clergy housing as a negative number on Form 1040, line 21 and include an explanation. Then we must override a line on the Mass. form as it does not accept a negative number. This means the state form cannot be e-filed. Very time-consuming and frustrating. Please include retired clergy housing allowance in future versions. Thank you.

For the first time, Turbotax continually forced me into a schedule c which was unnecessary and kept me from being able to file electronically. I finally figured it out after an agent could not. This is a known issue on blogs. Would be great if Turbotax fixed it. Also the incessant attempts to garner more and more persona info is intrusive and offensive. No drivers license needed!
