Turbo Tax is good software with a user friendly interface. I was very disappointed to find that Turbo Tax now charges for your State submission.

It was easy and very helpful for Turbo Tax to link to my investment accounts and W2 etc. and automatically download all the information.

if changes were made that invalidated some forms and worksheets, these were not properly cleaned up. helps instructions were also useless as they all related to online version of turbotax and not the relevant desktop version.

I have now used TurboTax for two years and next year I may shop around before I purchase. Turbo Tax keeps trying to add extra charges to simply eFile my taxes.

Outstanding as always - I filed deferred due to combat duty, and it was still easy. Had to deal with rental property for the first time, and it was impossible to find the place to put in my mortgage interest and property taxes. Otherwise great

Could not submit return due to error 102345. Had to start all over and then had to pay for a state form even though it was included in the Turbo Tax premier. Will definitely look into using a different software next year.

The tax system is way too complicated for anyone other than an accountant to understand / handle. Turbo Tax is not just a luxury, but a necessity for the "do it youselfers."

Good software. Be aware that even when you enter your direct deposit info for your Federal refund, the bank account info does NOT carry over to your state return. This results in a paper check being mailed to you.

Guides me thru the whole thing. I received a 1065 K-1 and turbo tax brought me thru the painstakingly difficult process of input on this oil related income

Maybe it is just me, but I found the CD version much easier to work with. It was much easier to go back and forth between different areas and I liked how easy it was to look at specific actual forms with the CD version.
