In filling out a final return for so who died in 2016 Turbo Tax Insisted on a date of death in 2017. Worked around by faking the death date to 1/1/2017.

Outstanding as always - I filed deferred due to combat duty, and it was still easy. Had to deal with rental property for the first time, and it was impossible to find the place to put in my mortgage interest and property taxes. Otherwise great

I have now used TurboTax for two years and next year I may shop around before I purchase. Turbo Tax keeps trying to add extra charges to simply eFile my taxes.

Other than having to look into help to understand the questions being asked as the verbiage was confusing at time the program itself is pretty easy to follow

A fee is charged to pay by credit card and a fee is charged to get a direct deposit refund. As more fees are added each year I need to examine other tax programs.

Reported the state tax problem to turbo tax and as of April 8 no fix for the problem has been provided. So I am manually doing my state taxes this year.

Great product. Problems come up because the user does not understand the federal forms and has to really think about what information is required. Not TurbTax's issue but the IRS and their complicated forms and instructions.

Maybe it is just me, but I found the CD version much easier to work with. It was much easier to go back and forth between different areas and I liked how easy it was to look at specific actual forms with the CD version.

Could not submit return due to error 102345. Had to start all over and then had to pay for a state form even though it was included in the Turbo Tax premier. Will definitely look into using a different software next year.

I enjoy using Turbotax as it saves me a lot of time. Generally, it is easy to use. This year I had a little scare when my taxes went up $300 on the live screen by just clicking the button "Start -> Check for Penalty". If I didn't hit that button, my taxes would not have jumped $300. It took an hour to input the quarterly income and quarterly deductions to reduce the penalty to $5. Then by requesting a waiver, I was able to return to the original tax amount. Phew, that was crazy. It made me wonder if the $300 would have shown up at some point later in the flow. Anyway, I got passed that and things went well after that. The state returns are very easy to file. Once the Federal is done, the state returns just fall into place. Thanks for a great product!
