If bland, almost tasteless and very fatty is your goal, then by golly this is the bacon for you! I bought Member's Mark bacon in the 3 pound packaging, which isn't on the website. Presumably the same brand = same bacon. Very little flavor, very thin, very fatty. We do ours in the oven and pour the drippings into a pyrex container. Kitchen scale says that the drippings are just over one pound, which is about 1/3 more than Farmland brand. For thinner bacon that's easier to crumble Farmland has suited us best however the quality of that has gone downhill lately. In any event the Members Mark brand is not anything we'd buy again.
