I was not impressed with this bulk package of bacon. I did received the stated 10 lbs of bacon; however, the slices were moderately thin. They were so thin if the bacon is handled at room temperature the bacon become a mess to handle and becomes very oily. I think the box has about 70 slices total (9 slices to sheet). I believe the flavor is hickory. When cooking you must attend to the cooking process the entire time. It get crispy and burns super easily. If you are looking for thicker-cut bacon look elsewhere.
