Using mini morsels was a poor choice in making fudge unfortunately. I had made some with your regular semisweet chocolate chips and they were perfect. My second batch I tried using mini morsels and they would not melt! I am very sad as the first batch is for gifting and this second batch was for me. Being 38 weeks pregnant I am a bit emotional that my fudge is ruined.

Followed the instructions on the package to melt for candy coating, and it didn't turn out right. Did some researching and since the chocolate is real and not compound, it needs to be tempered. This is not indicated at all in the melting instructions on the back of the package. I still plan on using this product, but I will not be following those instructions anymore.

I made brownies with frosting and nuts and decided to use the milk chocolate morsels today. My preference is dark or at least semi dark when I bake. These worked out fine and added a little more chocolate in a somewhat plain brownie. Adding the nuts and a little frosting really helped! I tried the recipe on the package for something new and, although it wasn't my absolute favorite, I would definitely make again. My husband can't seem to keep himself from eating out of the bag, though! Highly recommend these for a variation and I think I'm going to try out with some Semi-Sweet morsels for a combo cookie next! So sad to report a wad of chocolate ickyness when I tried to melt it. I looked online to determine what I could have done wrong after having successfully melting another brand a few days ago. Alas, I see all the posts of problems others have had getting the Nestle Milk Chocolate morsels to melt. :( Disappointed. These certainly are among the more expensive on the store shelf. Did not expect a problem.

After I add my Milk Chocolate Chips to the top of the saltines that was spread with brown sugar and sugar and baked in the oven the chips stayed gooey and did not harden a little to where I could break them in pieces. I used to use the regular Chocolate Chips so I am guessing that I can't use Milk Chocolate Chips. My family like the Milk Chocolate ones better.

I made a giant cookie cake for my daughters 14th birthday. We used to be able to buy these in the mall but it's been gone a long time so I was so happy to find this recipe.
