We haven't got the electricity bill yet. Always loved Frigidaire. The way it cools, efficiency & air feels fresh, clean, crisp & cold! It elevates the air & makes it pleasant to breathe. I have sinus issues & really important for clean & cold air. Very nice.

Its a bit loud for its size and output, and doesnt cool particularly fast, but gets the job done. I'd say its a solid O.K. If you want this for your main bedroom AC, i'd say spend a little bit extra and get something quieter or more efficient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using this unit in a small 15x6 room. I'm using the low setting with the thermostat on the coldest temperature (#7) and my room is very cold. However, in the evening it gets too cold so I lower the thermostat one setting (#6) and for some reason it just can't keep up. The temperature is warmer than you would expect if you just lowered it by 1 setting. So, it's either freezing or it's not cool enough to be comfortable. But all in all, it's a great little AC unit which is also very quiet.

I've explored a lot of options while searching for an air conditioning unit for my cozy NY apartment. Found that the Frigidaire FFRA0511R1 air conditioner is the cheapest and most suitable for my needs. I bought 2 unit which are perfect for my place, they cool down there respectable rooms very quickly and fit the windows perfectly. Assembled them both with no professional help and it was very very easy. They are a little noisy but not a lot that you can't sleep. Definitely recommenced as the top choice for a cheap air conditioner for the hot summer days!

They are very responsive- from low cool to high cool is an instant difference, and the temperature choices give me some fine-tuning capability. A bonus is the noise level; it is not overly loud, and they never make that horrible grinding noise that older units do.
