That's why I bought this one because the other had worked well for so long. Not disappointed, cools the room quickly, we don't even need to turn it on until around 8pm or later & the room is plenty comfortable by bedtime. Usually can turn it to low overnight or the room can actually get too cold! No complaints

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like most window a/c 's it's a little noisy when compressor kicks on. Nice color, easy to install. Works well in our 200 s.f. bedroom with southern exposure and mid-day sun. We use it just for sleeping. Cools room pretty quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had great expectations after a wonderful Consumer Reports Review, however... The expandable side louvers absolutely did not fit. When extended to seal against the edges of the window, there were gaps that measured large enough for most any bug, bee, spider, or creature to simply enter the house, not to mention the hot air from outside. After custom fitting cardboard, duct tape and silicone caulk to seal the gaps, I turned it on in my bedroom and found it was much too noisy to sleep in the same room with. I returned it regretfully.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this unit for my daughter's upstairs bedroom that doesn't get much cool air from our central A/C unit. Instructions for installation were very clear and I was able to install it in about 30 min. Plugged it in, turned it on, and it's been running like a champ ever since.

This unit has worked well all summer, but two days ago I began hearing a water sound when the unit initially turns on, and that sound continues for as long as the unit is on. I figured that the unit may not be draining properly, and checked the angle in the window, which is good, went outside to check the drain and couldn't find any place for the water to drain. I thought it might be plugged, but now I wonder if the water drain is even a standard feature on this model. Please help.

I like the different settings on this air conditioner, and it is pretty quiet too! Highly recommend this unit if you like to feel comfortably chilly on a piping hot dog day of summer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago for my tiny NYC studio apartment. It weighs about 45 lbs but i managed to haul it up the three flights of stairs in sweltering weather. I was lucky enough get this on this day when the temperature finally hit in the 90s in NYC. My bed is literally 2 ft away from the vent so I definitely feel the full benefit of AC. So far no complaints everything works as it's supposed to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit works great for cooling, but there is no Eco setting, and the fan setting without cooling is not strong enough, so the room gets stuffy if the AC is not needed. This is not our quietest unit.

We needed a way to cool a small room (less than 130 square feet) without cranking the rest of the AC's in our home. This unit was perfect for our needs. Small, light weight and very easy to install by ourselves. It has kept the room quite comfortable without having to set it on high cool. It is also relatively quiet (compared to our other window AC units) so we are able to have Skype, Zoom and phone calls without difficulty.
