[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this AC unit to use with my pop up camper. Since it has been winter, I haven't used it with the camper yet. I did plug it in to my 2200 Watt generator running on economy mode. The generator never had to speed up to keep up with the air conditioner. From what I was told, this AC unit has a high capacity startup capacitor which makes it not put a heavy load on the power source. Perfect for use with a generator. Seems to be well made. We'll see after this summer at Sturgis.

I bought this less than a year ago and it stopped working. Although it turns on and makes the sound it should, the temperature does not get cool anymore, regardless of the settings and how clean the filter is. I would like a refund because it is completely useless and I need to get a new air conditioner as a result.

Its profile is slim, so it doesn't intrude into the window more than necessary. We made it 'voice controlled' by using a smart plug. My only complaint is that we didn't do this sooner! I recommend this for three important reasons: price, performance, and appearance.

This a/c is perfect for my large bedroom and it pumps out ice cold air!! It arrived in excellent condition: with no physical damage nor any parts missing. The side wings fit perfect in my window. Plus it arrived on Tuesday morning versus Wednesday by end of day as originally scheduled! (Free delivery?) Chicago had 108 heat index every day last week and the heat was awful and miserable. I was soSo happy it arrived almost 2 days earlier. My maintenance guy installed it straight away and I just love my wonderful Frigidaire 5,000 BTU WIndow Room a/c. I highly recommend buying this unit!
