This a/c is perfect for my large bedroom and it pumps out ice cold air!! It arrived in excellent condition: with no physical damage nor any parts missing. The side wings fit perfect in my window. Plus it arrived on Tuesday morning versus Wednesday by end of day as originally scheduled! (Free delivery?) Chicago had 108 heat index every day last week and the heat was awful and miserable. I was soSo happy it arrived almost 2 days earlier. My maintenance guy installed it straight away and I just love my wonderful Frigidaire 5,000 BTU WIndow Room a/c. I highly recommend buying this unit!

It pumps out ice cold air!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic in-window compact a/c unit which nicely cooled my 1 bedroom apt. Great features like cooling and fan options and will as temp regulation and fan strength regulation. Also liked the air filter which could be detached and cleaned.

I bought this Ac unit thinking that Frigidaire was a awesome brand and I was very wrong. Im not sure if I just got a bad unit or ? I had the unit in my window for 3 days and took it out and sent it back. I hope if you choose to buy this you have better luck than I did.

This this AC unit is awesome. I just finished installing it. I'm so glad that I went with this unit I was going to go with GE or a Artic King  but after checking the reviews I saw that most of the reviews were done from a promotions so even though this unit is not as up to date, it doesn't come with the remote control so it's manual. Once I did some research of my own I saw that Frigidaire was on the top of a lot of the list for their dependability and quality. So okay I got to get up and manually turn it off and on no remote no biggie. The most important thing to me is the fact that once I ran the AC not even a half an hour my room was already cold. I actually had to turn it down from low high to low cool medium and now it's comfortable so I'm extremely pleased with it it's very compact it was easy to install so far so good. The best choice for my budget so great quality and great value.
