I love hot chocolate, but I always make mine with milk and not water. I've been brewing the swiss miss on the 6 oz setting to give it more flavor but in the end I still taste the water and miss the milk. My favorite k-cup is Chai latte and that is a very creamy drink. I don't understand why the hot chocolates can't be creamy (and chocolatey) as well? The problem is not just with this brand. Very disappointed considering I bought my Keurig for teas and hot chocolate only.

I *think* what happens is when the water first enters the Swiss Miss K-Cup, the cocoa globs up inside the cup and causes enough backpressure to shut down our brewer. When I start the brewer back up, I have to select the lowest size, otherwise it will overflow the cup. Trying to just get a cup of cocoa is a hassle. When we get one, it tastes very good (so not a 1-star) - but we won't buy this again.

I was very excited when I got my Keurig for Christmas because I could use it for Hot Cocoa. After having tried it, the after taste tastes like the plastic reservoir.I even used My K Cup to pour in the Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa Mix from the packets and encountered the same problem.

Always shake a cocoa K-cup before brewing. Cocoa is a fine powder that tends to tamp down and then clump and not fully dissolve when water runs through, unlike tea or coffee. That said, I still found the Swiss Miss to be thin and not have much of a chocolate taste. The Ghirardelli packets are still the best, and aren't hard to make.

I have tried all the hot coco cups on the market, and Swiss Miss is the best out of all of them. My hubby agrees and he is picky. I stopped buying coco cups because the taste was just bland. Someone gave me one of these to try, now my family is hooked.

Left too much mix in K-cup, had to open it and dump the rest in, so why not buy the Ghiardelli, which tastes better anyway? Too expensive, unpleasant aftertaste. If I am going to drink something with this much sugar, it should taste really good, I was disappointed.

I hated it until I added a little chocolate syrup. Then it tasted much better, it was no longer watery and the aftertaste disappeared. I only stumbled upon this when making it for my nephews and niece. I would recommend this to a friend with the contingency that they would need to add more to it.

Received this free with my Kuerig and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste since I was worried it would be too watered down, but it tasted better than the Swiss Miss I usually make out of the packets. I did choose the 8 oz option on my brewer and it was perfect (I think the 10 oz would have been a bit watery).

Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate is a great non-coffee beverage that is delicious, convenient and enjoyed by the entire family. My spouse and I enjoy the richness and warmth of this product while working in the kitchen. We also enjoy adding Bailey's Irish Cream or Peppermint syrup for an extra special beverage. A great product indeed.

I like the flavor, when it brews properly. Mine tends to clump and stick together in the K cup most of the time making what finally comes out watery and leaving a large lump of what looks like fudge in the K Cup. My solution is to run hot water through the Keurig, then just open the K Cup and poor it in myself, it mixes fine that way, but defeats the purpose.
