I am not a huge milk drinker, so I have always made the instant hot chocolate in the packets with the powder and water. Perhaps that is the difference for me because I think these are great! Sure, it probably is more cost efficient to buy the packs. BUT, I really can tell the difference between the packs and the pod and, in my opinion, the pods are far superior!

Saw this and decided to try it. The instructions said brew at 8oz or for creamer at 6oz. I tried it at 6oz and it was okay but not great. The taste was okay but could be better, maybe I will try it at 4oz and see what it is like. I would recommend but with the understanding to not brew higher than 6oz.

I bought this at the grocery store, and was very excited to try it. I made it with the 8oz portion first, but found it a little weak. The 6oz portion tastes better. Be sure to shake the cup a little before you brew it, and run an empty cycle (without a Kcup) after you make it. I tossed a few mini marshmallows on top of mine, the kid in me couldn't resist!

I have always disliked the way hot chocolate tastes in a packet, but they are so convienent I have found a way to enjoy it. The packages always recommend using milk for a better flavor, so I have always used a large coffee mug, heated the milk for 2 minutes in the microwave, scooped off any skin from the milk then poured in my packet of hot chocolate. This has made it taste yummy to me. So I thought I should try something similar for my Keurig, short of just pouring milk into the resovioir, which I don't recommend! LOL. What I did was got out my large coffee mug, poured it halfway full with milk, then on my Keurig I used the middle button for the amout of pour. The middle mug button I mean. When it's done brewing I just stir it to mix it well. Other than that I would suggest just using straight milk and using the microwave for hot chocolate or doing it the way my grandmother did, over the stove. Hope this improves the flavor for you, I know it did for me.

This hot chocolate is really good when all the powder actually goes through the machine...I saw these in a USA supermarket, and knowing I couldn't get them in Canada picked them up. Others have complaind about other hot chocolate brands doing this for for the Keurig system, and I found this one to be the worse, every pod in the box has had chocolate powder left. Tastes horrible until I break the pod open dump the rest in and stir. then the taste is very good. I Follow the instructions (Shake pod very well, and use the 8oz brew setting) So why would I buy the K-cups at a premium, when I can just buy a can?

I've tried other hot chocolate kcups, but the Swiss Miss tastes the best by far. I'm glad it's now available on Keurigs website! If you add an ounce or two of half and half to your cup as the kcup brews, you'll never have it any other way! As the box recommends, use the 8 ounce setting or the chocolate flavor will taste weak.

This hot cocoa was a pleasant surprise. I brewed a medium size cup, added some Baileys Irish Cream and a handful of marshmallows while it was brewing and when it was finished it was like melted marshmallow and chocolate bliss! Also works well with Frangelico and marshmallows! Great warmer upper on a cold day, along with a blanket, some fuzzy slippers and a good book!

No where do the ingredients appear for the Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate K cups. The box doesn't say diet. I expect real sugar. This artificial sweetener has sulfur in it acesulfame potassium, like saccharin dies. Lots of people are allergic to these. There needs to be a warning label on the box. I'm now short of breath and my esophagus is closing. It's really criminal that companies don't put ingredients in their descriptions. It tasted artificial and somewhat weak at 8 oz, not, like real cocoa

Would not recommend buying this. You would have to use 2 or 3 K-cups to get enough flavor for a single cup. (Which then makes it VERY expensive for a single cup!) Very watery, bland taste. Best to just get the packets of hot cocoa, and use hot water...plus you get marshmallows then!

This is the best brand of hot chocolate. It has the perfect amount of chocolate and it is not too sweet. I love this brand. The packaging is great. It is affordable. It is a great value. There are no cons with this product. I would recommend this to others.
