I am so happy that swiss miss has finally come out with a k-cup. This is my favorite hot cocoa and i cant wait to buy it. Hope they never stop selling it. there is nothing like the traditional hot cocoa with milk either. I will probably buy both still, just cause I can!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a nice cup of hot. Cocoa! I bought a different brand and it was terrible but this one is really good. Since its close to the holidays I was able to purchase some peppermint bark chocolate and I broke off a piece in my Swiss miss and it made me think of am old fashioned Christmas!

Keep in mind that one pod will only make an 8oz cup of hot chocolate. A mug or cup that is larger will require more than one pod. Considering the commercial hot chocolate mixes on the market Swiss Miss is the best. Making your own blend will probably be better in taste and quality depending on the ingredients used, but if you want pre-made pods this is the best on the market.

Brewed on the 6 oz setting, made 2 packs for a 16 oz cup. Needed to stir it to even out the chocolate distribution, since most of the chocolate comes out in the first 5-10 seconds of brewing, leaving the cup topped off with just plain hot water. Overall pretty decent.

I just got my order, I know is a bit too early for hot cocoa but I wanted to see if it was as good as the instant one and this is even better! I cannot wait for the upcoming holidays to have another cup of hot cocoa! not too sweet, just add marshmallows and is perfect!

Swiss Miss packets remind me of my childhood. I got excited when I saw this item in a sample pack, but was sorely disappointed when I tried it. On the midsize setting (a normal coffee cup), the hot chocolate tastes pretty watery. You're better off buying a better powder (Ghirardelli hot chocolate bags are $5) and spending the extra time fiddling with the microwave.

Always shake a cocoa K-cup before brewing. Cocoa is a fine powder that tends to tamp down and then clump and not fully dissolve when water runs through, unlike tea or coffee. That said, I still found the Swiss Miss to be thin and not have much of a chocolate taste. The Ghirardelli packets are still the best, and aren't hard to make.

I hated it until I added a little chocolate syrup. Then it tasted much better, it was no longer watery and the aftertaste disappeared. I only stumbled upon this when making it for my nephews and niece. I would recommend this to a friend with the contingency that they would need to add more to it.

I was very excited when I got my Keurig for Christmas because I could use it for Hot Cocoa. After having tried it, the after taste tastes like the plastic reservoir.I even used My K Cup to pour in the Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa Mix from the packets and encountered the same problem.

This hot chocolate is really good when all the powder actually goes through the machine...I saw these in a USA supermarket, and knowing I couldn't get them in Canada picked them up. Others have complaind about other hot chocolate brands doing this for for the Keurig system, and I found this one to be the worse, every pod in the box has had chocolate powder left. Tastes horrible until I break the pod open dump the rest in and stir. then the taste is very good. I Follow the instructions (Shake pod very well, and use the 8oz brew setting) So why would I buy the K-cups at a premium, when I can just buy a can?
