We love it!

Me and my family love these! My other hot cocoa maker was hard to clean and really use well. It's so nice to have individual cups so if you want some hot cocoa, well, you get a cup and not a huge amount that goes to waste. We like the taste of it, we use the small cup setting twice with a new hot cocoa cup so it doesn't come out watery. For us it doesn't come out watery that way. Give it a try and see for yourself!

Shake the k-cup

My Husband is on a hot chocolate kick to replace some of his coffee at home. Before putting in my next order I decided to read some of the reviews and drink some of it myself. Some people said all of it didn't come out of the k-cup. You need to shake them first. All of my mix was used. I opened the cup after brewing to check. I like hot chocolate but don't drink it often because of the calories. For an occasional indulgence at only 60 calories this tasted good. I added a tablespoon of sugar free creamer, so mine ended up at 75 calories but actually it wasn't necessary. This k-cup had plenty of chocolate flavor and with no mess and instant gratification.

I'M HOOKED

I was not sure how it was going to taste, but once I tried it, I was hooked. You don't need to add any sugar. It is already sweetened to perfection. The only thing is that all of the mix don't come out. so, I am going to try and shake it up to see if it works. But, I opened the container and spooned the rest in my cup, stir it with a spoon, and VOILA, the taste gets richer.

Not worth the price

While I love my k-cups, knowing how cheap it is to get Swiss Miss in the market and knowing how easy it is to use a water-only option on the Keurig, I don't see a rational reason for spending so much on this particular product. Swiss Miss is known to be reasonable in price for families in their regular format. The option for a k-cup just seems an odd choice (which I don't see as practical) when you can just spent less than half the amount for the same product if one uses the hot water option as one would do for tea.

unpleasant aftertaste

I love the idea of hot chocolate with k-cups and I really do generally like swiss miss hot chocolates in the packets. There was just something really off about the aftertaste. It was like that fake sugar taste you get when something is sugar free but there was no claim to being sugar free and still had that nasty after taste.

Diet Product without the Warning

Blech! The product completely fails to disclose that it is sweatened with artificial sweetener! This is not tollerable. I had to check several times to confirm that I was not missing a nasty chemical ingredient. Stick to the old fashioned stovetop method or a microwave and use real coco mix

Contains Artificial Sweeteners

This product contains artificial sweeteners (sucralos/Splenda, and acesulfame potassium) in addition to sugar and corn syrup. Since the product contains sugars it cannot be labeled sugar-free. However, for those with allergies to artificial sweeteners the only labeling which indicates there are artificial sweeteners is the small-print ingredients list on the side of the box. User beware.

Best if some milk added

Okay, here's the scoop with Swiss Miss K-cups. You have to brew them at the 12 or 16 oz level, if you don't, some of the cocoa stays in the bottom of the cup. I usually take out the k-cup and tap on the rim of my cup before I discard. I also add a small amount of milk to add richness. I like it better than the other offerings. I'll buy it again, but you have to remember to finesse it a bit...

Love this machine

I just bought mine today and as soon as I got home made me a cup of hot chocolate. It was delicious seems I do not drink coffee. I have always wanted one of these and now I can sit and watch the winter weather out my window while having my favorite cup of hot chocolate with a little half and half to make it creamier. I sure didn't go wrong buying this. Highly recommended.

Artificial Sweetener - Gross!

I bought this about a month ago and did not realize it had sucralose in it. I hate artificial sweeteners as they leave an aftertaste in my mouth. I noted that it had artificial flavors but didn't realize it meant this. Very disappointed in wasting my money. Giving these away......
