Today, February 2, 2021 ... opened a brand new jar of Vlasic Kosher Dill Wholes. They are terrible! So bad in fact, there is NO WAY our family will make another Vlasic purchase again. Who is responsible at Vlasic for this new recipe? The entire family decided to just trash the remaining jar. I agree with other reviewers ... until I see confirmation that Vlasic went back to the original great crunch/taste, I will be loyal to another brand.

ANY pickle lover would know for a fact the recipe has unfortunately changed. I would always have a jar of the spear pickles even if it meant buying one every single week; until the day I bit into one and tasted a flavor that I instantly did not recognize. I've always been a huge fun of vlasic pickles and they were the only ones I liked. Unfortunately since they've changed I haven't had any, desperately wished they changed back.

I've eaten the Vlasic Kosher dill pickles my whole life, and they were the only pickles I loved. This new recipe is TERRIBLE. The pickles are rubbery and bad. I'm so sad about it. I hope they go back to the artificial flavors (lol), they are much preferred!!

Only bought these because they were BOGO. What a mistake! Now I know why. Must have been a bad batch and now they're trying to off-load them on unsuspecting consumers. Then, I came here and read the last 10 reviews stating the same exact issue. The skins are super-tough and inedible. Had to use all the effort I could to bite through one and ended up throwing in the trash. I would even go as far as saying the edge of skin is sharp and wouldn't doubt that someone would cut their mouth from eating. Returning to the store for a refund.

I was on a dill pickle and watermelon diet this summer and i bought 20 jars a week of kosher spears..... That is until they changed the recipe... They are so terrible now. They are soggy and have the worst flavor of any pickle ive ever put in my mouth! PLEASE GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL KOSHER SPEARS...ITS A SHAME AFTER ALL THESE YEARS THAT THEY CHANGED A PERFECT RECIPE, TO A TERRIBLE RECIPE...

I usually buy the classic kosher dill wholes or spears, tastes are the same just different size for different meals. But with this new packaging I've noticed any pickles with the new packaging is SO gross. I read the reviews before writing my own because I was hoping I wasn't the only one and I see I wasn't. Whatever the new recipe is does not work for us customers. The flavor is really gross and not tasteful at. This will lose a lot of customers with this new recipe. I don't like any other pickles for the stores but I definitely won't be buying Vlasic with the new recipe either. Please go back to the old recipe!

I bought vlasic dill spears, as I do whenever I run out, but I first noticed the jar label had changed and didn't think much of it. Then I ate one and thought I caught coronavirus because it tasted terrible and the texture was not crunchy. But I dont have the virus, and I noticed other people's reviews saying the same thing. Why did you change something so delicious if it wasn't broken. I had to throw the jar out, I couldn't make myself eat another one.

What did you do? I have loved these for years. But these are awful! Taste metallic and chemical. I thought they had expired. I usually eat them with the children but I was afraid. Whatever you did please fix it. They are awful!!!! I usually but 2 and 3 jars at a time. I won't buy anymore until I see a commercial or advertisement showing you went back to the original crisp good tasting pickles.

I have always loved pickles by the jar. My son also loves pickles. I have read the reviews and I am happy I am not the only one disappointed in the change. Recently the jars with the new packaging, have no taste and the pickle itself is hard and not tasty. I can't find the original kind but hope Vlasic goes back to it. I was disappointed in the spicy garden mix going away and now this.

I am obsessed with the original recipe. This past week, I couldn't help but notice a terrible after taste and thought maybe it was just a bad jar. I kept buying more jars and had the same bad experience. I then realized there is now "turmeric" added and I cannot seem to find the original recipe in my area. I'm happy I'm not the only one that feels this way. Pretty please go back to the original!
